In which case, if consciousness can be streamed, can that consciousness be hijacked? Or do I stop existing the moment it's transported?
Too many uncertainties.
There would be no way to determine if your consciousness persists - such that the same "you" is the same connection on both sides. Even if it looks like you, acts like you - it would shatter the foundation for what it means to be conscious.
Product Hunt is beyond the tipping point of being an inside community where your product only succeeds if a dozen or so other "makers" (as they call it) can also advertise their churn in your thread.
Just last week that Spreadshare product was at the top of the page because their maker went out and spammed Slack channels soliciting upvotes under the false pretense of offering jobs to developers.
It's minimal indeed, but almost too minimal. In my experience working with CSS frameworks, the "there's a class for that" pattern is almost always not enough and it's much easier to write rules to handle customization. That leaves out both developers that aren't designers and designers that develop.

Airpods are just "well done." The audio quality is not exceptional, but everything else marks the definition of the new standard for bluetooth headphones.
We hear about it every once in a while but it's generally drowned out by the white noise of virtual reality, new smartphones, and self-driving cars.
Instagram is so much more self-regulated and bound in crafting identity. You're right in that it's much more focused on consuming since the barrier to posting is much higher than snapping.
For anything earlier, Nvidia periodically releases drivers about a month later than the OS version bumps. There are drivers for 10.12.4.
I can't believe it's 2017 and we are still dealing with this.
As soon as Google stops providing value to publishers, they are the industry.
The most frequent encounters with CAPTCHA's I see are rejected API requests over VPN.
