What a joke.
It’s CNN/Fox news style sensationalist entertainment writing rather than news/journalism.
Israel got a regime change while U.S. tax payers received the bill.
In the end, it’s still a country.
You can dislike the project, but take your political beaf elsewhere. Your statements are irrational.
During Covid, their were individual state laws around employment vaccinations.
Do athletes, refs, coaches still throw games? YES.
Your argument is that regulation would fix both, and my argument is that regulation has not fixed either. Wall Street is just as shady not with regulation as it was in the 1930’s without. The only major difference now is that the IRS is able to track and tax smaller entities easier.
This appears to be nothing more than a gimmick under the disguise of “green” that does nothing but waste CA tax payer money.
It’s all so tiring..
While he was in the wrong for scraping, it got blown out of proportion when miss director’s feelings got hurt.
This happens in sports betting as well, which is also regulated.
Neither of your examples show a material change or resolution due to regulation. The only result would be increased bureaucracy and decreased technology advancement.
Very likely the woman are caring for the heavy burden and labors required to upkeep their own homestead which deserves an article itself, but obviously outside of the point of this article.
Last time I checked the differentiator is whether skill is involved.
Same scenario: If the government was undercover for scammers and in turn scamming people.
While the govt would receive persecution immunity, there is no immunity for damages.
This seems more like a paid shill to move public opinion.
People that throw out blanket terms like this kill the actual meaning and reverence.
Unfortunately, the U.S. has never had the best doctors in the world (outside of cancer treatment). Japan and Russia for example have much better healthcare. However, it has certainly gotten worse now that hospitals are taking advantage of the visa system and bringing over doctors/nurses from other countries to increase their own bottom line.
The regular cost increases are due to immigration (no insurance), medical coding system, and govt subsidies.
You would have to blow up the system and restart to make it affordable, but then that also means millions of jobs gone overnight, a historic market crash, and then no one would want to work in that field as pay would have to be substantially lower.
You also can’t go down the free healthcare route based on the above, along with govt being horrible with everything it touches that we would have a $50 trillion debt in a few years time.
Every university has to decide what is profitable and what is a loss leader. You have to be well rounded to attract students, but also make money.
In this case, the school decided that this studio had less benefit to them than reward. If this studio attracted more students (tuition $$) then it would be a benefit.
People are getting mad at the White House, but in reality the school decided that this studio wasn’t worth keeping.
Just trying to be rational here.
