We shouldn't shame them. We should encourage the workers to unionize and fight for their rights.

The value of labour has fallen because of a systematic dismantling of any sort of apparatus for preserving it's value. Amazon can fire 1, 10, 50, 1000 workers. They can't fire a union of every FC worker in the country. The value is only low because the field is so tilted in favour of capital.

I think the socialist would agree, but that's impossible in a capitalist system.

This is a bandaid to try and help against one particularly blatant form of exploitation by corporations.

I don't think it's doable, but it would pretty great to see the federal government just collect extra taxes to make up for every tax break given.

Because maintenance and replacement (in some way) is good practice. Quit thinking of tech as some magic thing that will never go bad and start thinking of it like any other piece of equipment. Regular maintenance is required. Replacement may be required.
