Am I the only one here that actually liked the article? Regardless of this guy's resume, or the grammar, or the presentation, he has a point! This...

"You’re all highly highly skilled, top 1% at your craft. You’re all highly highly intelligent, top 1% of the population. You’ve all got excellent social skills, top 1% communication skills. And yet, you’re middle class. Have you reflected on that? You’re the top 1% IN EVERY CATEGORY THAT MATTERS, and yet, you’re relatively poor.

Do you know why? Because you haven’t stopped being a fucking joker like the rest of society."

+1 for the name. LOL!

Adobe is! My team in particular, too! http://blogs.adobe.com/charles/2010/11/wanted-computer-scien...

Thank you for showing me that I wasn't the only one that had the same HORRIBLE experience! I gave a valiant effort for a good 3 solid days, at which point, I was much MUCH further along with the same tasks on iOS. For shame, RIM.

Ya, I was thinking about doing exactly that. I figured that might be the best option, but thought I'd ask in case there was some Git feature that I just didn't know about. I'll probably go this way. Thanks!

I call bullshit. One BILLION unique users? Just a quick scrub on Google gives a bunch of sources saying that the total number of people on the Internet worldwide is between 1.4 and 2 billion. So AddThis is (or has been) used by up to 50% of ALL Internet users?! I don't think so.

I work with the Services Infrastructure team here at Adobe and we're looking for interns! Check out my post for the opening here -> http://blogs.adobe.com/charles/2010/11/wanted-computer-scien.... Hope to hear from you!

I think the same can be said about any field and discipline, not just academia. You gotta live it and breathe it to become the best...but it's all about moderation.
