chocksy··on Proof that free plans don't attract the right users
No support for free seems good but it's very hard to do. People will always look for support no matter if you say that you don't offer it. They will bash you on twitter or something. :)
chocksy··on Ask HN: Google Analytics for your body?
For your body?? What do you mean? Like human body?
chocksy··on Startup Analytics: Why and How We Use Mixpanel
When i make new web apps i usually suggest we use mixpanel for tracking events. It seems cleaner than using google analytic events even though in the past 2 projects i built we used the later.

I also used kiss in the past.

chocksy··on Heroku – Why you should never run your own servers again
I'm using Heroku for all my projects. I remember the times when we had to install rails on amazon ec2 servers. Pretty awful. Now there are still some new options out there that mimic what heroku does.
chocksy··on LinkedIn to Buy Online Education Site Lynda.com for $1.5B

chocksy··on The equivalent of “It’s all Greek to me” in 30 other languages
Yep we say "Da ce esti turc?" => "Are you turkish?" when we try to say that expression. (Romanian)
chocksy··on Postico – A Modern PostgreSQL Client for OS X
I'm using it. It's great. I went from PG commander to this.
chocksy··on Ask HN: How to move beyond “freelancer”?
It's hard to build a team. We are working on that for 3 years now. Since we are in a developing country clients expect lower rates.

But you have to stick to your rates no matter what. Usually the good clients come once you can provide good quality work. Word of mouth is much powerful that anything.

chocksy··on Baby Can I Get Your Auth Token?
Yeah you can! :))
chocksy··on Test your startup idea: A list that took me 8 years to develop
I have to agree on the recurring revenue stream idea. Usually if you don't have a plan for an entire year it's extremely hard to hire new people.

New talent is always the key to get yourself a growing business.
