chinmays··on Ask HN: What are some tools / libraries you built yourself?
I wrote a small python package call r_Freeze: https://github.com/chinmayshah99/r_freeze.

It essentially scanned all the R files in a given directory and generates a file with all external packages that are used by the program.

Its super useful when the R code/ directory doesn't have requirements.txt or basically list of packages that need to be installed.

Definitely interested and would love to be a beta-user.

Looks promising and definitely that can have a huge commercial value. I'm curious about how you establish context for code-search? Also, how do you decide on how to rank the result based on a single string?

chinmays··on Show HN: Simple application that helps keep up with New Year Resolutions
Ofc not. I was trying out different tech. Setup the tech using Surge for frontend, node + mongo on ec2 as backend while sendgrid to send out mail. Looking for suggestions to improve tech stack.

hey chupa-chups, built this as a small project(in the first two days of the year) to help myself with keeping up with new year goals. So thought maybe there are definitely others who will benefit from it!
chinmays··on Show HN: Get Your New Year Goals in Inbox Daily
Excited to share a small project I put up in the first 2 days of the new year. New year resolutions usually break in 20 days. But what if you get a daily reminder in your email. Probably you could hold to goals a bit longer!

Using Surge to host frontend, and hosting backend on ec2. Couldn't use Netlify/ Github pages without enforcing HTTPS. Any suggestion on how to enforce HTTPS for ec2 at cheap cost?

chinmays··on Ask HN: Anyone has built there own file file-format?
Interesting. What were the challenges that you faced while doing the same?
chinmays··on Ask HN: Who is looking for a co-founder?
Working on something called CodEnv(codenv.xyz) Building an offline platform that lets you code without setting up environment. No need to install any specific language or framework. Building on top of docker. I can write in python as well as node.js with high proficiency. I do have some deep learning experience, to be specific computer vision.
