I ended up paying $10 on namecheap instead.
Hersh’s most consequential claim was about how bin Laden was found in the first place. It was not years of painstaking intelligence-gathering, he wrote, that led the United States to the courier and, ultimately, to bin Laden. Instead, the location was revealed by a ‘‘walk-in’’ — a retired Pakistani intelligence officer who was after the $25 million reward that the United States had promised anyone who helped locate him. For that matter, bin Laden was hardly ‘‘in hiding’’ at all; his compound in Abbottabad was actually a safe house, maintained by the Pakistani intelligence service. When the United States confronted Pakistani intelligence officials with this information, Hersh wrote, they eventually acknowledged it was true and even conceded to provide a DNA sample to prove it.
Which raises more interesting questions: how will this next generation of content producers monetize content, and will they be doing it for a living like the publishers of today?

I could see the location information being supplied using a Bitcoin service provider (Coinbase?), but whether it is accepted as "proof," is questionable.
If you look at the average funding per student by state, Texas isn't doing so hot [1], especially for being the second largest state [2]. There's definitely more to it than just funding, but I think that would be a good starting point.

I tried rendering Hacker News in an iframe on a page with zoom set but they set X-FRAME-OPTIONS: DENY which destroys any hope of cross-origin css magic.
[edit] just tested zoom with a site that can be iframe-d and my css hopes were squashed - the size of the iframe is zoomed, but not its contents.
Personally, I wish that there was more due process around this sort of thing. So, for instance, as part of the settlement a lawyer had to be there to advise the recipient throughout the process.

I'm using tools similar to what social platforms use to aggregate metadata, and embedding this information in the page, specifically for crawlers. Facebook still gets the metadata, except it comes from my service and not the original site.
