Pocket w/Feedly and Buffer make a great content consumption/sharing trifecta. Meldium is useful. I would pick Fetchnotes over Evernote for clipping. Momentum is slick.

There can never be too much free swag. It's how a startup says to you "don't worry about shopping for clothes this year, I got you covered."

Jonathon's had a lot of portfolio success, has a great sense of humor, and is awesome to work with. Whether or not he runs a startup, I don't know, it's mostly semantics IMO, but I do know I'd go back to him at every raise. I think the point he's trying to make is that he's "one of the guys" and therefore an entrepreneur-friendly VC. I'd agree wholeheartedly. He also has a ninja-like backhand in table tennis.

While that would be cool, I'm not sure what Rachet really does for me above JQM. JQM could be better on performance, sure, but all in all, I don't see any other compelling reason to use Rachet. Is there something I'm missing?
