When you have a salary, you’re getting paid what you’re getting paid and nothing more and hoping whatever raise might come is better than inflation
Welcome to the era of jailbreaking cars
There’s probably even recorded interviews out there with the candidates as data

Employees, yes. But the execs at these big firms would love to have more control over their best people so they have less leverage
Employees unfortunately need employers to pay them, so they will take the deal they can get
If your options all move to Florida, guess where you’re moving
No idea why HN is cutting off the first word

Would be a shame if they claimed they can’t decrypt but an old back up had the keys to the kingdom

If I ran a bacon company and I didn’t have CRISPR pigs I’d advertise in large red print
“CRISPR Free”
Or
“Non-genetically modified”
People are afraid of lab grown meat already, they’ll be terrified of CRISPR meat
My competition won’t be able to advertise the same
Most language apps make you select whole words rather than type, so I made an app that focuses on text first
It's helped me find the letters on the keyboard much quicker and rattle off common responses
Check it out! Would love your feedback
…you know, for defense
Some ideas I have are:
- Memorization game with the 1000 most common words
- Text to speech - Hear the word when it appears - Add support for other languages - Which if any would you like to see support for?
- Add the ability to type along to a classic fable/expression/poem - the app gives you x seconds to type each word
- Game Center support - Track scores, compete with friends
- iPad/macOS support
- Streak system / Notifications - keep users motivated by helping them track their progress
Anything above sound particularly appealing?
Beyond that: What's missing? What needs improvement? If there was a killer feature you would pay for, what would it be?
