But if were a random new user who booted into Wayland-only new fedora only to find my installation is already borked... what are we supposed to tell them? Oh yea, Linux is only for AMD users.. sorry!

Current favorite language is Rust.

RN dealing with -
1- when it comes back from suspend, the whole screen is filled with Rainbows. Pretty, but useless. 2- display scaling setting is either ignored or completely broken, no in between. Display settings in general seem wonky.
If I pretend these two things don't exist, the smoothness during gaming is far superior though..
But 90% of the time someone taps on my shoulder, they want me to think for them. You can do that by yourself. Just send an email.
You have to calculate the probability of them hitting, also account for misses, and explore your reaction to each possibility in this tree, it sounds easy but only comes after 1000 hours or so of play..
In the code example, with that level of exp you would also foresee the possibility of failure and account for that. The more times you get knifed, the less often it happens.
It definitely won't be as supported as the Steam Deck, maybe you could use that for that purpose, although you need to tote a keyboard / mouse for the hacking experience.. I would love to see something along the vein of the Aya Flip but mainly w/ Linux in mind.
I also just don't use navigation if I've been somewhere more than once. Just navigate with my head..
Edit: someone else pointed out if you actually navigate then it will show remaining % more accurately. Still seems like false advertising..
My range is approx. 180 miles, in favorable conditions (summer, AC off). If it was actually accurate, as soon as you hit 70-80mph you would see your range half. Clearly that doesn't happen, so the estimator is off by ~40% for highway conditions, i.e. complete bullshit.
I have the OG model M from 1993 or so, the Unicomp Model M, and a Model F keyboard from modelfkeyboards.com.
Of the 3 my favorite is the New Model F. It has a satisfying ping-y The Model M is good too, but the cable is fraying and I'm afraid to use it and accelerate its demise. Probably I can send it to someone for fixing or fix it myself somehow but haven't gotten around to it.
Nothing is wrong with the Unicomp technically but it is my least used... not sure why.
If your complaint about mechanical keyboards is that they are loud, be prepared that the buckling spring keyboards are several times louder than anything Cherry-like.
On the other end of the spectrum I have a Realforce R2 PFU edition. It has silenced topre switches which are sort of a fancy rubber dome. This is the keyboard I use 90% of the time and for this comment.
As an aside, music skill (and many other skills) can be divided into Reading and Writing. Reading consists of either actually reading sheet music, or Playing by Ear. Writing is executing what is in your mind. In the context of improvisation, it's coming up with those things to execute in the first place.
To be honest, I am a good Reader, but a poor Writer myself, and still in the beginning of this part of my journey. I love listening to jazz, and playing along, but devising my own melodies is almost beyond the current me. But what's great about music is that every day you practice is one that you get better.
edit: This Seventh String software has an old school interface, but it's actually brilliant. This completely changes my approach, thank you!!
It’s also easy to say how much better the game is when there is no OW1 to compare side by side. I will say I had much more fun in the beginning than now. I think Birgitte being released was the beginning of the end for me, and Tracer had hard nerfs as well making her almost useless except in pro hands.
