I dunno if this is unreasonable, but I fear dling Torrents with high number of seeders in case one of them is malicious. With Mega you only had to trust one server.
I have a milkweed too. Last year it was kinda small since it was its 1st year but we had 5-6 monarch caterpillars, but gradually they disappeared 1 by one with no chrysalis I could find.
This year none yet, I was hoping the migration hadn't started, because my milk weed is giant and ready to raise these lil things if they would just show up.
My Model3 is 6 years now, and has lost about 10% range. The car doesn't suddenly become useless either. I expect to keep the same car + battery for at least 20 years without replacing it.
It may, and I guess not every job has the same requirements. And 2 parents could technically split the care time evenly and squeeze out 8 hour days by using 16 hours of the day and maybe working all night while the child sleeps. Good luck structuring all your team's meetings around one person's schedule though.
If you find out that parents have no form of daycare, and are taking care of their child while doing their remote job they should be fired, end of story.
As a parent, taking care of a child is itself a full time job. Your friend is either an idiot or was banking on his work being stupid enough to let it slide.
Zed's vim plugin is not all there. I just ran into an example case.
This text - 'asdf-asdf'. If you put the cursor on the hyphen and in Normal mode press dw - in Zed this deletes all the way to the ' and in neovim it only deletes the hyphen, I guess it counts as its own word. Subtle differences like these throw off your muscle memory.
Interesting, so seems like asset stores are way bigger than I thought. I guess, when I think of Pixel art games, I'm thinking about indie games like Stardew Valley, Celeste, and Undertale, maybe I am just revealing my own gaming biases.
I have one thought on FTL travel. Creation of a “naked singularity” by spinning a black hole fast enough to counter the forces holding it together. However the singularity will remain incompatible with our universe, and will then spread at the speed of causality popping, destroying everything in its path. But within that new universe, it might be possible.
Sadly I had a similar experience. Actually had the Pro too, which was even more of a pain, IIRC because of having to press a reset button to boot with a pin, it was really bad. The OG Pinephone eventually would freeze every time I ran apk update on Postmarketos, I think the internal mmc went bad after a year.
Thanks, this makes a lot of sense, and I learned about how games are really created. It's sad because I see devs like Notch or Zeekerss who somehow go solo and make millions, but clearly these are the exceptions and these medium-sized teams are typically the minimum required to get a real game out the door.
Sounds really unfortunate. I also know little about this process, what do the publishers do that we cannot do ourselves? I guess they have pre existing deals with the major console makers that allows them to send things to market with little friction? Maybe that's why some indie devs just target PC, they lock themselves out of the console market but also don't have to deal with publishers?
Ah, yea I had a similar experience with Extra Fine. Now I buy them through Nibs.com which does some custom grinding, also they take into account my Leftyness, which makes for an extremely smooth and wet write.
That's awesome and really impressive. The pen is a real workhorse. I will say the Vanishing Point LS or something, the more expensive variant, is not as reliable, as my twist mechanism on that gradually got stuck.
hmm... It was fairly un scientific.. I will try VSync and report back. I would prefer to use X tbh, because of these bugs. It's certainly not seconds behind, but yea, maybe more like 50-100ms instead of 17.
That's really weird... I play Rocket League on 144 frames and X is far more janky.. while Wayland keeps a very smooth 144 99% of the time, and input delay feels non existent but on X it feels like 2-3 frames behind.
