There are some useless spam filters. I have received two phishers posing as protonmail customer support. On the other hand it seems like i haven't received nearly as much spam as my gmail gets.

Suica cards work practically everywhere. You can poke a button to use english, usually clearly labeled. You need cash everywhere in Japan so not sure why that surprised you. My experience with Tokyo metro was pretty good. I've never seen a metro as well-organized despite 15 private rail companies splitting the system. The only problem is the operating hours, the last train rush is insane some nights.

Hope you can get past it. Quake Champions is a lot of fun. All the games have dumb loot boxes nowadays. At least Quake's are all aesthetic. More annoying is their gating of the champions behind huge amounts of "Favor", but that's f2p.

I have an older XPS 13, the touchpad is bad on Linux only. Have you noticed that issue?

It's more concise than switch, as well as more powerful (can destructure objects). You can't set things equal to the result of a switch. I find the pattern very convenient.

They go down practically every time there's a lot of volume. Not sure if they have publicly addressed what sort of infrastructure problems they're having though.

(not the parent, but I had the same laptop with the same problem) I reinstalled Fedora. I could have probably recovered the grub bootloader manually, but I wasn't really keen on sitting there for a few hours. All my data was backed up anyway.

OK, so what about the planning period where you talk to your engineers and ask if they can implement it? Or does the CEO just shoot off the email without consulting anyone? The price would shoot up as soon as that email was sent out, so if anyone was consulted about it then they could insider trade.
