On one hand, I think it's dumb because why am I explicitly making noise? So I turned it off. But then I scared the living hell out of two shopping ladies when I unintentionally crept up behind them, and now I always leave it on.
I completely forgot all of that until recently, the farms around our city were opened to the general public. My kid wanted to go, and while they were enjoying themselves looking at the animals, I struck up a chat with the owner of the farm and asked on a whim if the "knecht" was still called that. No, he answered, that position is now called "medewerker" (operator? colleague? contributor? I dunno.)
I think the time for words like master/slave and blacklist/whitelist is simply past. This is just an observance, I don't have an opinion either way.
Wow, that is some next level stuff right there. Very nicely done. What do you get back? JSON, plain text, HTML, man page?

Anyone tips in this regard?
Or you charge it wirelessly (Qi charging).
But which one?
I've worked on a project where we had the choice and I suggested HTTP, but was outvoted for something custom. In the end, it meant quite a bit of work. And HTTP support is ubiquitous.
I found out I really enjoy working with the latest hardware. I'm enjoying a decent income and now upgrade to the latest base model every 2-3 years.
If you get the 13 inch models, they have extremely good resale value and thus make it (relatively) affordable.
Edit: I think I get it now, you prefer to not have the online component at all.
But I want more for my players. The best maps have very nice multi-level dungeons, with strange stuff like underground rivers or a dangerous precipice connecting parts of the dungeon.
% brew uninstall <appname>
Or uninstall and remove all of its cruft as well via: % brew zap <appname> ffmpeg -i example.mov -r 15 example.gif
Voilà, an animated gif. Quality is atrocious but it gets the message across, plus the filesize is not too big.For instance, I've been experimenting with APFS fusion drives. This is basically the macOS equivalent of a RAID0 volume except there's some added intelligence on stuff that can be cached on the fastest drive.
So for fun, on my Mac Mini, I plugged in an external drive and tried to create a fusion drive across the internal and external drive. Nothing is documented about this process, do you have to google and piece together the procedure.
Of course it seems to work and then the volume corrupts itself. But why? This other guy who blogged about this, doesn't know.
Linux is much better about this. People do crazy shenanigans with their hardware all the time. You want to RAID-5 a bunch of USB sticks? Sure, no problem :)
