Same situation for me.
I find the philosophy to be too judgemental, and the belief that Quality is the metaphysical key to the understanding of the world seems really overstretched.
Slightly off-topic, but how far are we from producing artificial milk? It would seem like a relatively easy thing to do (at least compared to meat), and with high payoff (vegetarian diet without the ethical and ecological problems of animal dairy).
Concerning the general problem of captchas:
What about paying a small fee instead of filling ever increasingly complicated forms.
Say 10 cents.
You could set up a service where the website's owner could decide whether the money goes to them or to, say, a foundation of their choice.
