To my ears, this usual "introverts are not made uncomfortable by silences" refrain sounds condescending.
Couldn't gnu taler allow this kind of stuff?
It seems the intuitively clear solutions often can be deceiving since there are hidden aspects balancing things out and I'm wondering if it's the case here.
* add blocker (say ublock)
* js disabler (noscript)

* anti tracker
* url cleaner
* user agent spoofer
* cookie cleaner
* whatever decentraleyes does
* enable the right settings in about:config

All the extensions are there already, but it would guarantee them working well together and you wouldn't have to look for each extension and wonder if it's actually the one you want, but just install "the one".
I don't agree at all with your statement here. There is a whole historical/social difference at play here; taking it into account doesn't make you a hypocrite.
(I hate the "hypocrite" judgement. So easy to cast and rarely true)
Do you have any other examples matching such an aesthetic? I quite like it too.
This exact thing happened e.g. there https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Journal_of_Algebraic_Combinato...
What (latex compatible) fonts do you like/recommend then?
In my opinion, it's kind of sad to see how strongly Computer Modern dominates the font choices in latex (and more generally the latex monoculture).
I'm curious, who would those be?
