I, for one, don't want this. At all. Taking a look at my screen right now, there are probably close to a hundred or so icons in various applications visible on my desktop. If all these icons were wiggling and dancing, distracting me in my peripheral vision, it would be infuriating. I already had to disable animation in Slack due to the constant barrage of animated emojis. Let's not just do this because we can.

I'm on a Surface 4 right now. Wife has a surface 3. The 3's never got sorted out (sleep of death, etc). The 4's have gotten better, but still are very buggy, especially if you try and dock with low-dpi monitors.

It's a shame because the performance and screen are stellar.

The idea that you could calculate a meaningful number like this for the entire state is absurd. Perhaps if you could drill down into county or zipcode this would be more useful.

Like many of my peers, I am extremely jaded about the possibility of successful political reform. That said, I think Lawrence Lessig is one of the very few people trying to attack the problem at its core. I love this idea, it's like using the political system's own tools to hack itself. Pledged.
