SCRUM is toxic. It is toxic because it dis-empowers the developers who are doing the actual work and hands that power over to the "SCRUM master". The SCRUM master is the ultimate bureaucrat -- and a proxy for Management -- in a heavily bureaucratic methodology. The job of the SCRUM master is to guard and protect the SCRUM process. I presume that expectation was that the human driver was suppose to be fully engaged to take evasive actions if and when required. What jumps up at me if that fact that the system does not alert the driver when his/her intervention is required.

I don't think that browser should be in the business of blocking Ads. That's the job of 3rd party tools and extensions. A browsers job is to display a webpage as is not to alter it. At most it should scream if a man in the middle altered my page anything more is crossing the line.

Developers, developers, developers. I would open up the apps store and the API -- embrace developers once again. The media companies trajectory that they're currently on seems like that which Yahoo was on, and it did help Yahoo much.

I think he's being a little bit to hard on Slack. He was really stretching a free trial offer beyond its limit. If he was a paying customer then I might have cut him some slack.
