I have no expertise in the subject, but my intuition says this doesn't hold because the wild you're dealing with entire ecosystems, where everything is evolving together. Through the shared evolution they come to some state of equilibrium. Invasive species, evolved in entirely different ecosystems, have adaptations that allow them to take advantage of foreign ecosystems only because they didn't have to evolve those traits alongside competition.

But, like I said, no expertise, just my initial reaction to your comment.

I'm compromising with my wife and only mowing a small portion of the yard we have and I won't touch the rest. I might try and introduce some native wildflowers, like milkweed, though. We live in a more rural part of the country though so it's maybe easier to do such a thing here compared to a subdivision or something.

Isn't there two events here: the actual supernova and our observation of the supernova. So the actual supernova event could have occurred but our observation is when it crosses our 'lightcone'?

If you rewind that video a bit turns out she's talking about something else, circadian rhythm/time restricted eating, no idea. I happened on this post just the other day, that's why I replied to your comment in the first place. It's funny my wife and I were going to start trying out IF and I've been railing on her about how it's gotta just be water until we eat or we lose all the benefits..haha I gotta loosen up. Too much information out there, easy to get lost in the weeds.

I guess it depends on your goals. For weight loss benefits I think you're right. But coffee does contain caffeine which has to be metabolized so it apparently interferes with other health benefits of IF, eg autophagy.
