Teacher claimed he hacked the computer because she couldn’t find icon and refused to admit she was wrong. Everyone hated her. Wonder why….
Any way kid became a legend after the suspension.
If you want to edit it, you have to open the notes app, paste it, edit it and paste it back into the caller.
I hope they work on integrating the services both ways so I can bring my Mullvad account number over.
No big deal but a bit annoying to have two ways of doing it.
I call Pettier a compromise tool, noone is happy noone is too mad when you force it on checkin etc
The point I was making is that they done no meaningful improvements on Android since five years. If onenote supports rich text the mobile app should do the same.
I enjoy the rich text since I'm not very organised with my notes, I don't have the patience or discipline to neatly write my thoughts down, I mostly copy paste things and write it in one big OneNote document. I have like 90 different random notes in my 2020 forward dumping note.
I those cases highlighting important info is nice, so I don't have to visually remember where the important things are.
I noticed if I don't allow the chaos I just don't write notes so I prefer this way. I started using todo tasks for things I need to do soon, so babysteps to becoming a compete human ;)
I don't understand why a device can't just be for consumption of media. Why is everyone trying to force this to become a computer with an annoyingly complicated navigation UX and the rest of the ceaveats when using a complete OS.
If I ever have to worry about CPU usage or driver issues on my iPad I will be the one leaving. I bought an iPad NOT to work on it. It is my vacation device so work can never call me and ask me to do something quickly
Super useful since you can see different ways people use them, for example how people would use an API synchronous or asynchronous.
The bad thing is, it brings all code regardless of license So it will happily bring you GPLv3 code as an example. Not a good idea to study code like that if you work on closed source.
Also it doesn't seem to ask for permission to use the examples.
I am switching camp, Google is selling the illusion of choice. They want control back from options and I don't intend to be part of that journey.
Do you just run Docker or do you combine it with Docker Compose?
Do you instead opt for Proxmox in combination with Podman?
Maybe you opt for something simpler like this tool; Sandstorm.
Or even more complex of a setup with a K8 cluster with combined with Gitops.
It is interesting and a lot of really good tools to chose from but it is not obvious to me.
With PlantUML you can do this ClassA::memberB - - |> ClassC::memberD
There is an issue on github but no movement.
You ask for empathy and compassion where you offer none.
I don't think you understood what is being written, and went for wiritbg a comment attacking rather than exploring.
No autocomplete on username, slow initial load, search function is sticky on desktop client but not on the rest. No way to easily add folders or reorganise multiple items.
I won't renew my subscription, not that they care anymore
They rewrote parts of it to React when they made the weird half client for Windows 11. Not sure why those two clients haven't merged yet.
They since have seem to have fixed this, but for most of the pandemic it was like as described. Very annoying at the least.
Compare any topic relating to capatilism, the plights of the low income classes or politics in general. I often amuse myself comparing the takes between the two sites relating it those topics.
Also HN is more clinical, it discussed the death of Swedish reporter like it was a cold case ready to be ripped through.
And also more easily distracted by seemingly innocent open questions like in politics for example "Why is it X job to care about this?" since you can't dismiss it with a short meme it creates discussion that the OP only wanted to distract from the original article.
Apart from that HN discourse is 100% better than reddit and I agree with you in some terms.
Some colleagues at work have switched off Google since C# regularly gets ignored as a parameter. It didn't use to.
Just annoying having to argue with a tool every day.
My point is you should dispute the original claim that it is life or death for Facebook instead of the subcomment running with that theory.
I think Facebook is doing OK, but they have issues breaching the younger democratic, which is worrying them.
