The only thing I found myself yearning for is more of an "as code" - i.e. having all of ClassicPress' config stored in a handful of version controlled files, rather than fragilely in a web UI. But for my humble needs, it sealed the deal perfectly. Boring is good!
Also, have you tried other alternative shells like xonsh?
Also, that description made me lmao, thanks
1. Important info is hosted on these platforms
2. It's impossible to look this info up. Their internal search functions feel like their optimized for finding distracting shit rather than finding what you were actually looking for.
I hate it with a burning passion, and I secretly wish for all of these companies to be nationalized and have like 90% of their features deprecated. I hate having my attention abused like that. It's too much hassle and FOMO to uninstall these apps, and I need like 3 external tools to limit my usage to sane volumes.
This is not a top-priotity problem at all, nor one that I think of frequently (just an hour a day), yet I can't fathom how some higher-ups waste their lives thinking of these shticks
I was shocked to find out that the concentration capabilities I have while high on Adderall are considered just normal for most people.
I still think the root of the problem lies in the insane amount of work hours we're expected to put out, and I'm sure that I would have an easier time if tech companies (that I can score a job in) actually made something real rather than adtech bullshit jobs. But until then...
1. RateYourMusic has a wonderful feature of democratically tagging albums with genres. People suggest this or that genre, then if it gets more than 2 votes (or something like that) the album's page is updated to feature the genre. You can then browse the genre page and swift through other similarly-tagged albums. Here's an example[1].
2. I find Last.fm's "Similar Artists" section to favor niche artists more than, say, the Spotify equivalent.

Yes! I was thinking the same thing. I would expect the author to suggest automatically guessing the user's location instead of blindly placing your own country at the top.
The rest of the document is precious, though
