broolstoryco··on Alleged leak of more than 5M Gmail accounts
I found my email there, but the first two letters are of a password that I have never used with gmail (it is a disposable password i use for uniportant sites)
broolstoryco··on Why Amazon Has No Profits and Why It Works
Earnings are profits, profits are retained in the company. A simple look at the P/E ratio tells you very little without understanding the broader context.
broolstoryco··on Lorem Ipsum: Of Good and Evil, Google and China
> The rest of the conspiracy nonsense in the article is pretty silly and stupid, honestly.

Was also surprised to read something like this on Krebs

broolstoryco··on SocialCoin: A Cryptocurrency for a Global Basic Income
"In order for SocialCoin to work, we need to figure out a way to create a decentralized ID system that doesn’t rely on government ... This is currently an unsolved problem ... The user would set an appointment with 3-5 agents individually and each agent would scan the user’s irises in person to verify that they are a real human"

This has to be satire

broolstoryco··on Nokia 'paid millions to software blackmailers six years ago'
Ah yes, the good old days when software extortionists demanded cash in parking lots. To me Bitcoin seems much older than it actually is.
broolstoryco··on How To Marry The Right Girl: A Mathematical Solution
No, it does not. You would essentially just be gambling on the price.
broolstoryco··on Show HN: The Rap Test
For me this page freezes Firefox (FF 30 Win 7) and bloats its memory usage by about 300mb. What it is doing on the top of the frontpage is beyond me.
broolstoryco··on Expedia Starts Accepting Bitcoin for Hotel Bookings
I didnt mean to imply they are restricted to Bitstamp.
broolstoryco··on Expedia Starts Accepting Bitcoin for Hotel Bookings
Coinbase has an account on bitstamp where they hedge their net position. In times of high demand for btc, it sometimes happens that they run out of fiat on bitstamp and cannot process orders instantly.
broolstoryco··on Losing A Lawsuit In The Philippines
Lost in court

> We stopped returning calls from his office. We ignored requests... we simply ignored the situation and continued to grow our business.

broolstoryco··on Russian hacker engineered worldwide crime spree
"By the time the bank realized the money was missing, the hackers had laundered it through so many accounts it became untraceable."

broolstoryco··on Bitcoin to adopt a finite coin supply.
This is an april fools joke. Im really getting sick of them.
broolstoryco··on Coinbase user emails and full names leaked
I am familiar with timing attacks. The thought of someone attempting to apply it over the internet to verify whether an email is registered on a dating site seems laughable.
broolstoryco··on Coinbase user emails and full names leaked
Im sceptical of this. My email was not published anywhere with regards to bitcoin or coinbase, I receive relatively little spam, yet I received 4 of these messages.
broolstoryco··on Coinbase user emails and full names leaked
Not sure if sarcasm..
