brokenparser··on Android KitKat
It's called Nesquik.
brokenparser··on Kit Kat's homepage is currently a parody of Android announcement page
The site is beautifully written using the latest HTML10 standard.

brokenparser··on Tiny $45 cubic mini-PC runs Android and Linux
No, it would be pedantic to point out that Android uses a Linux kernel. So it really says "supports Linux and Linux", good to know it supports Linux besides supporting Linux. Don't even think of running anything other than Linux!

I'm okay with this.

Android Lion

Android Mars

Android Nuts

Android Oreo

Android Peppermint Crisp

They'll have to introduce their own brand of chocolate after that.

brokenparser··on Microsoft to acquire Nokia
Forget what?
brokenparser··on Microsoft to acquire Nokia
That's almost exactly what I wanted to write until I read the definition of his analytical engine on Wikipedia. Although IBM says they formed through a merger of three companies in 1911, it's origins started in the 1880s and I count that as the true beginning of IBM. Note that in 1911 the company was called CTR and they kept that name until 1924, so either way I don't think 1911 accurately reflects the founding year of IBM.
brokenparser··on HelloRun - A WebGL 3D Game
Same in FF nightly 26.0a1:

  "HelloRun
  ________
  "
  "THREE.WebGLRenderer" "58"
  "Error creating WebGL context."
In three.min.js:412. A strange game. The only winning move is not to play. (Other webGL pages work just fine.)
brokenparser··on Microsoft to acquire Nokia
Right, don't mention ze Zune.
brokenparser··on Microsoft to acquire Nokia
IBM doesn't count because that company is almost as old as the invention of the computer itself.

brokenparser··on Gnome's Web Browser Ditches Google For DuckDuckGo
No it's not because it's bleeding obvious. You could have known by just looking at the title.
brokenparser··on Progressive Enhancement Is Dead
It ain't dead until Netcraft confirms it.
brokenparser··on ReactOS: Rebuilding Microsoft Windows from the ground up, fully open-source
Older versions work, what is so important in the latest version that you can't use the old? How did you get any work done say, 2 to 3 years ago?
brokenparser··on Gnome's Web Browser Ditches Google For DuckDuckGo
It's more likely because Gnome != a web browser.
brokenparser··on Gnome's Web Browser Ditches Google For DuckDuckGo
Because Web adheres to the human interface guidelines.
brokenparser··on DoS exploit crashes iOS/OSX devices using WebKit
It's a bug inside Apples CoreText font rendering framework

So that means anywhere the string could appear, the application that has CoreText render the string crashes? Makes me wonder if it'd work by just broadcasting the string as an SSID and wait for someone to look up available networks, or sending text files to bluetooth devices with an Apple mac address. That would be cool, on a bus, in a crowded city, during rush hour.

Get on Firefox

So presumably he pasted the string right here, wow. Good one.

brokenparser··on Google has lowered the price of the Nexus 4 by $100
Old HTC models had a distinct chin, so you could just lay it somewhere face-down and it wouldn't damage the screen at all. Of course this conveniently also exposed the speaker.

brokenparser··on GNOME Developers Hate the Mouse, Remove Middle-Click Paste
It's generally a good idea to use git add -p, even without a sensitive scroll wheel.

2 doesn't really matter because other desktops might not want this at all. If they do, someone should make an effort to create a freedesktop.org standard codifying the (shared) behaviour in an agnostic manner. Can happen, but if you want to run a KDE program in Gnome you're bound to see inconsistencies all over the place. Both of them think their way is best.
brokenparser··on GNOME Disabling Middle Click Paste
I liked spatial nautilus, it endorsed KISS. Other operating systems that had the same basic interface include classic Mac OS and Windows 95. Both of them were easy to use as well (until they crashed) though the latter messed up by having a virtual desktop folder become the root of a tree with more virtual folders that didn't have anything to do with filesystems (they kept going downhill ever since).

In 4.2 they'll have the button press itself after a time-out unless you cancel it, because the user might forget to press it.
