Let's say I can understand the NSA stories, since they're somewhat tech related, but this is just off-topic, IMHO.

But indeed we are very close to another war, and IMHO this time will not be a walk in the park with a possible Russian intervention on it. Remember, Kremlin always consider US a 'business partner' which can be easily turned into an enemy.
This is weird, they could just not have added meridians and parallels, and it would have been fine.
On another note, are the seas and oceans ever cleaned up from all this junk which falls into it? Is there any plan at all? Or, it's on the bottom and nobody can see it so we don't have to care about it.
