discern when to delegate to the llm and give it enough context and guardrails to simply save you the keystrokes by coding exactly what you were thinking
I would guess a product or features like this are never "completed". They would be iterating and improving the solution and taking user feedback so that it can evolve over time. I think that's the point of releasing it as a product
On mobile Chrome in portrait mode at least, you can't hide the toolbar and have the teleprompter play at the same time. Pressing play hides the option to hide the toolbar, and if you hide the toolbar there is no way to hit play. But hiding the toolbar would make the playing teleprompter much more visible
I use a notepad I created for myself where each line displays a timestamp of when it was last modified, for my personal note taking workflows. Html/vanilla js.
For me, routines are used to provide a strong stable foundation so i can take on new, unexpected, unfamiliar things on a daily basis, and stay resilient and mentally healthy. It is a means and not an end
Good enough for me. Chrome's implementation of partitioned cookies does not work for our use-case, though Firefox's implementation works well. Google has still got some work to do before they go ahead and break everyone's web apps, in my opinion: https://github.com/privacycg/CHIPS/issues/82
Lately topical Tretinoin has been shown in numerous studies to cause Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension aka Pseudotumor Cerebri which is quite intense. My post about this on sca from years ago recieves a many comments to this day from other sufferers. I'll never touch it again despite my adult acne. I wonder how many other people have debilitating potentially blinding brain pressure headaches and don't realize it is caused by this medicine commonly accepted as safe.
I'm guessing even if they knew the tool existed they would still rather ask you to do it. Not everyone wants to understand computers or download programs
I think some distinction like met online or met through friends may be misleading but i don't have the context. For example, dating people you meet within online niche communities where most people are friends. This is much different than swiping on an app
Certainly many of us here already have a good amount of experience debugging giant legacy spaghetti code-bases written by people you can't talk to, or people who can't debug their own code. That job may not change much.
I remember one around the year 2000 that gave you yourname.com for free but it would host your site in a frameset with a bottom frame serving banner ads. IIRC it was called NameZero, but I don't think it lasted long.
I personally can appreciate multiplying an attackers standard dictionary with a transformation. I find the decoded passphrase is already high entropy so it just adds a little bit of trouble. I might consider bcrypt, thanks for the idea.
My personal favorite method for passwords is come up with a passphrase I can remember, encode it to base 64, and use the encoded string as the password. If its not too long, the encoded version is usually not hard to memorize either.
The founder of MySpace came from XDrive so I assumed XDrive is what is being referred to here. Wikipedia suggests this too, with MySpace starting later as a new company, but it states that the early team were inspired by social features in some other existing software. Maybe that was called MySpace and is what you are talking about. Would love to read more about it
I think people underestimate the calories they've had, and over estimate the calories they need, to begin with. Calorie surpluses with exercise really only fulfills one temporary periodic goal that not everyone one may have. Even as I fasted every day and lost 70 lbs sustainably for years, I was still able to significantly increase my muscle mass, energy capacity, and theoretically my longevity during that period.
My thought is in a complex system the cause of the regression is not usually near the point of failure, so debugging can become unmanageable without the upfront effort of identifying a small set of changes that might be responsible, so you have some more places to set your breakpoints.
