Any idea why systemd was not able to be reliably used, and had to use cron?

Is there a ‘fix’ for that ?

edit: This was not meant to be offensive. I was simply hoping somebody could offer how it could be used with systemd and remove the reliance on cron.

I imagine somebody is ‘friends’ with the police and asks for help identifying who the organizer is associating with, so they can fire that person.

It is a PTZ camera, so I am guessing they are trying to grab license plates.

There is definitely a gray area between private detective work and police assisting with a favor.

Seriously, though, it is a PTZ camera, cellular modem, and battery with an exhaust fan.

Maybe I don’t understand what self-determination means, but wearing a mask and keeping 6 ft of distance from another person, does not prevent one from participating in government.

I think you underestimate the government’s ability to mess with people’s cashflow.

If the property owner faces a financial burden, that will incentivize a change in behavior.

Well, in the US, electric and telephone have more rights and regulations, compared to cable television.

So, as a telecom, it is better to go in under the guise of a CATV company and use a franchise agreement, then as a phone company that also offers TV, and internet.

Also, if the poles are already there (usually phone or power), the new entrant is able to lease a portion of the pole to string infrastructure.

Sometimes the municipality owns the power company.

Cellular providers lease tower space from private companies that negotiate the tower placement with private land owners.
