brandonlipman··on Ask HN: Template for SaaS service agreement?
Go take a look at the SaaS agreement by YC. It’s a really solid starting point. https://www.ycombinator.com/documents/
brandonlipman··on Show HN: Datasette Publish – Turn CSVs into a SQLite-Backed JSON API
This is awesome. Could this be extended so that new CSV uploads can be added at a later date and deduplicate?
brandonlipman··on Ask HN: How do you stay focused while programming/working?
This is helpful. Going to try this today!
brandonlipman··on Ask HN: How do you stay focused while programming/working?
I fell in love too. Fist language that I actually was able to feel I understood. Its been about a year since I started.

Your feedback on depth is really helpful. Thanks!

brandonlipman··on Ask HN: How do you stay focused while programming/working?
Do you have any examples of good pseudocode? I have tried this method but feel as if I am not doing it in an effective manner?

And while writing pseudocode how do you know the level of depth and detail to include.

brandonlipman··on Ask HN: How you scrape websites?
So many ways to do this. What are you trying to scrape? If its light weight, you could use a Chrome plugin called Data Miner. Right now I am using Beautiful Soup for most of my scrapping and love it. Python is incredibly easy to learn and powerful.
brandonlipman··on 50 days down, how much are you using your Medium membership?
To be honest, I don't notice the difference.
brandonlipman··on Ask HN: Who is hiring? (March 2016)
Hey Andrew - This sounds really interesting. I will definitely email you and would love to chat more.
brandonlipman··on Ask HN: What Makes API Documentation Great?
This is awesome. Thank you!
brandonlipman··on Ask HN: For those that are developers what are your favorite brands/products?
Thanks the the initial feedback. Let me clarify one thing. I am more interested in the services/tools that you use as developers during the development process. I'm just trying to get an idea of what companies/brands are doing a good job at capturing the developer community.
brandonlipman··on HireWheel data shows these neighborhoods are investing the most in real estate
Here is an excerpt from the post:

Data obtained by HireWheel show that Oakley has seen the biggest increase in the number of permits issued to perform property improvement work between 2011 and 2015. Check out the graph below to see how some of the other top neighborhoods compared.

brandonlipman··on Ask HN: Who wants to be hired? (October 2015)
Location: San Francisco Bay Area

Remote: Open to remote consulting roles

Willing to relocate: Yes

Technologies: JavaScript - HTML - CSS - High Growth Marketing

Résumé: http://bit.ly/high_growth

brandonlipman··on Ask HN: Which recruiters do you like?
Does anyone have any recommendations on recruiters that focus on marketing and growth roles? I am actively reaching out to recruiters however it is difficult to find recruiters that are not exclusively technical.
brandonlipman··on Ask HN: Which recruiters do you like?
I would love to get that contact as well if you don't mind. She sounds like she could definitely be of help.
brandonlipman··on Twitter is buggy
I was just experiencing the same issues. Some accounts are not even showing the normal headers followers, following, favorites, tweets and replies.
brandonlipman··on Show HN: FoundersKit – $6k of discounts for the best startup tools for only $39
Really like the collection. I saw this the other day when you posted it on Product Hunt. http://www.producthunt.com/tech/founderskit
brandonlipman··on Ask HN: Has the career path from tech journalism to VC always been so linear?
I have noticed a similar trend. However, I wonder if there's more to this trend than meets the eye. I know for these examples (especially Kyle Russell, Colleen Taylor, Ryan Lawer) a big part of it is the network they have with founders and investors. Since a big part of their job is to write about startups they have a broad knowledge of the tech scene and seem to be extremely good at filtering out the noise.
brandonlipman··on Twitter’s CEO Dick Costolo Is Stepping Down
Here is a link to the Pres Release from Twitter - https://www.scribd.com/doc/268409558/Twitter-Initiates-CEO-T...
brandonlipman··on Twitter’s CEO Dick Costolo Is Stepping Down
Jim Cramer is saying he feels the stock was not well managed and investors/analyst struggled to find the metrics that should be focussed on.
brandonlipman··on Twitter’s CEO Dick Costolo Is Stepping Down
Completely agree. I love his philosophy on product. What he has done at Medium shows how he can build a product. It's incredible.
brandonlipman··on Twitter’s CEO Dick Costolo Is Stepping Down
I know Ev Williams is working on Medium (which I love) but it would be awesome if he would return to Twitter. Back to the original founding team.
brandonlipman··on Infographic: The Ultimate Guide to Tech Media
Its no secret that the tech media landscape has changed drastically in the last few years. After analyzing 100,000 articles and the business models of a dozen tech media sites this is what I found.
brandonlipman··on Ask HN: How one finds contracting/consulting jobs at BigCo's?
Interesting answer Phil. When you say larger consultancy firms do you mean firms similar to the size of Accenture?
brandonlipman··on Verizon buys AOL for $4.4B – May. 12, 2015
This blew my mind at first until I thought about all of the media properties that AOL has. Verizon probably already has large Ad spend on sites similar to these this just makes it more cost effective.
brandonlipman··on First Look at Uber’s Co-Founder’s Shopping Concierge “Operator”
I have been waiting on this service to launch since they pre-launched last year. The mobile Ecomerce experience has not had an app that really makes it seamless. I think Operator could be the app that wins as it focuses on use case first and fills exact request instead of having the user search and scroll to find the product that meets their needs.
brandonlipman··on Ask HN: What are some articles that have aged well?
"1,000 True Fans" by Kevin Kelly.

http://kk.org/thetechnium/2008/03/1000-true-fans/

brandonlipman··on Ask HN: Which book are you reading these days?
Currently Reading

- "Venture Deals" by Brad Feld

- "Capital In The 21st Century" It's okay, it's really long. There are some great nuggets but it is hard to consume and I end up having to do a lot of rereading to understand it. It will take me a few months to finish.

brandonlipman··on LinkedIn to Buy Online Education Site Lynda.com for $1.5B
This is incredible - LinkedIn is moving into content and now into training. I cannot wait to see how they integrate this with the existing LinkedIn platform.
brandonlipman··on The Potential Upside to a Technology Bubble
I would love to hear everyones thoughts.
brandonlipman··on Ask HN: How do I manage my network?
Wow, that is not good. I would have been upset too if that happened to me. I saw the checkbox asking if you want to invite your contacts to LinkedIn when setting up the Google to LinkedIn integration. So I was able to avoid this.
