Its not about bringing people together to see music they can agree on. Its about showcasing music of all types and letting people who are interested in, and/or fans of that music support it from start/finish.

To artists, it's a platform to crowd-source the funding and promotion of their recording projects as well as a free service to support the production, marketing, publishing, and distribution of their project.
To fans, it's a platform to discover new artists, fund the production of new music, and earn rewards for helping promote the music they like via various social media channels.
Currently we have a landing page up geared towards 'fans', and have been trying to spread the word. Any comments, feedback, suggestions or thoughts on what we can do to better get the word out are greatly appreciated.

Is a one-liner enough (i.e. "We're a crowd-sourced record label!"), or would people prefer the whole spiel (i.e. "We're a crowd-sourced record label that does this, this and this!")?
At first glance things look quite a few of the options and features were stripped out and the whole experience has now become more complicated...
I understand the need to pivot and change their business model, but moves like this make me wonder if it was a good idea for them to do something this drastic (only because from all I've heard about the services it was primarily about its blogging features and its ability to share via other social networks) and if I should consider looking for alternatives to what was (and may still be?) a simple blog...
