I'm curious why are people down voting this?

Any Win 10 fluent examples? Perhaps WinUI integation?
boromi··on The Cuboid: A DIY air purifier that's better than a box fan
What kind of fans are you recommending given the ~30$ constraint? I'm not exactly sure what static-pressure fans are, care to explain.
boromi··on Microsoft Sculpt Wired Conversion Mod
Is the latency really improved? I've been using wireless keyboard for a very long time now and can't say it's anything I've really noticed or lacked.

boromi··on Changes to LastPass Free
I've been using KeePass for ages. Yes the UI needs help, but it's predictable and hasn't had any issues or bugs.

If only edge mobile or chrome supported ublock origin..
boromi··on KeePassXC 2.6.4 Released
wow, I did not expect them to do this after reading issues that they couldn't work with the Windows API for some reason since it didin't have a C++ API.
boromi··on KeePassXC 2.6.4 Released
I wish they could integrate Windows Hello into it. It's the only thing holding me back from KeePass.

boromi··on I made Deskreen, open source app to make any device a second screen for computer
Very interesting. Does this act like Luna Display? How's the latency
boromi··on Milestone: Half a million downloads for VideoLAN packages in the .NET ecosystem
For an outsider going on .NET's website is confusing. For one is .NET 5 the same as dotnet? Let's check out the desktop side: https://dotnet.microsoft.com/apps/desktop

I have 4 options, Xamarin, UWP, Winforms, WPF. As non-Windows dev, which option is going to be my best options with the best support in the future? How do these relate to WinUI? Also, what's project Reunion https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/apps/project-reunio... ?

Let's not forget react-native-for-windows. Where does this fit into the above scheme?

boromi··on Understanding ProRAW
I do hope we see similar features from the Galaxy and Android world, altough I'm not holding my breath, based on how tight the software, hardware integration needs to be to pull this off. It might be a very long time until we see something similar, which would probably be half-baked regardless.
boromi··on A preview of x64 emulation on Windows for ARM
How does this compare to Rosetta II? What's the difference between emulation and translation. Presumably, translation will be much faster? In that case, why did MSFT decide to go about emulation. My understanding, is that this will be slower, but more compatible.
boromi··on Filmbox – Physically accurate motion picture film emulation
We need Windows support as well
boromi··on Why I Love Tailwind
I'm not sure what you mean by "But I much rather work on iOS over HTML. Now why is that?" can you clarify?
boromi··on Why I Love Tailwind
Ok that sounds fantastic, how long should we wait until that's the case and is adopted by all browsers and is backward compatible? That's the issue here.
boromi··on Apple’s “Extended Dynamic Range” Brings HDR to Non-HDR Displays
It seems to me that Microsoft really makes no effort to improve subtle aspects of Windows and hardware integration. In fact, their OS is in such shambles and is a disoriented mess with respect to UI consistency. They introduced Vista, Metro, and now Fluent. Yet there's almost no coherence and the UI is now a mish-mash of XP, Metro, and Fluent era elements. By the time they announce their next UI, you can bet you'll now see yet another ingredient added to the jumbled soup.

It really is beyond belief that an organization with so many employees can fail to adhere to a uniform vision and standard and focus on correcting details.

I'm a life long Windows and Android user. But honestly, seeing articles like this and how smooth the UI on macOS and uniformly they apply new updates and UI changes makes me extremely jealous and resentful that Microsoft is so bad at something so basic.

Features are great, but users at their start point interact with UI first. They need to fix that before anything else.

Now they want to give you the option to run Android apps on Windows through emulation. This just going to create a bigger jumbled mess.

boromi··on Apple’s “Extended Dynamic Range” Brings HDR to Non-HDR Displays
So how exactly do we correctly set HDR on Windows?

You have the HDR/SDR brightness balance to set and the monitor's own contrast adjustments.

boromi··on Arm64 Windows running with hardware virtualization on Apple Silicon
why does arm64 need virtualization on apple silicon? Isn't M1 chip referenced on the Arm architecture?
boromi··on This is how Google will collapse (2017)

boromi··on Apple Silicon M1: Black Magic Fuckery
How far away (in years) are chips comparable from AMD and say ARM ( Microsoft SQ2 ) for Windows machines?
boromi··on Apple Silicon M1 chip in MacBook Air outperforms high-end 16-inch MacBook Pro
It says something, but for the first time in about a decade, I actually want to get an iPhone and ditch Android. This is coming from someone who used to rock all the Lumia phones. The last straws for me are usb-c and no notch. The next iPhone that has these updates I'll end up purchasing. I'll likley miss the integration of Windows Phone Link, but I can live without that.
boromi··on Apple Silicon M1 chip in MacBook Air outperforms high-end 16-inch MacBook Pro
I'm curious for Windows users what can we hope for from Arm/AMD? It's kind of depressing seeing how well Apple and their ecosystem is coming along. Being able to run apps natively on your laptop sounds amazing. Android and Windows are far away from that level of cohesion. There's Phone Link, but running apps using that is clunky and slow.
