bopou··on GPT 6.1 Sol: Near-Astra intelligence for a fifth of the price
Safe to assume you are actually shorting the market and not just mindlessly babbling about the impending explosion?
bopou··on California is chasing wealth that has feet
This is just begging the question. The "cooperative will of people" is nothing but a catchphrase invented to justify government power. You are just saying that a government owns whatever it claims, and then moralizing about "the town's well-being".

"I don't care about your ethical reasoning" is a good summary of your reply.

bopou··on California is chasing wealth that has feet
That's not "only right" at all. Why would "society" (AKA the government) deserve the excess value and not Disneyland, who DID do something to increase the value of the land?
bopou··on Italian parliament votes for return to nuclear energy
Finally, someone with common sense. Nuclear is bad BECAUSE it produces lots of cheap energy. We DON'T WANT this. More energy = more capitalism = evil.

DEGROWTH NOW!

bopou··on Bill to Ban Private Equity from Owning Medical Practices
An overregulated market is experiencing centralization? Who could have predicted this? We need to pass 20 more regulations to fix it.
bopou··on Bill to Ban Private Equity from Owning Medical Practices
"because the profit is the service which is being provided" What does this mean? Are you saying healthcare has positive externalities and hence should be subsidised? I don't think this is true, since the positive externalities are dwarfed by the benefits the individual consumer gets.
bopou··on Bill to Ban Private Equity from Owning Medical Practices
This reads like it was written by a 2022 LLM trained on 2024 Reddit
bopou··on Why don't machine learning research agents overfit?
How is the Kolmogorov definition not arbitrary? It depends on an arbitrary selection of the language you use to write the program.
bopou··on An ongoing 3D-printer AGPL violation
Not really. What copyright violations is the AI industry "built upon"?
bopou··on GUIs should be fully keyboard-driven
"democracy, per se, includes minority protections (i. e. if it doesn't then it isn't a democracy to begin with)."

Does anyone believe this?

bopou··on U.S. sanctions against the A/I Collective
"likely" here meaning "around a 1% chance"
bopou··on Europe's summer drought is so extreme that desertification is a growing threat
You're acting as if politics AKA overregulation (first person to say "You think nuclear should be unregulated???" gets a medal) has had no effect on the price of nuclear energy.
bopou··on Universal health coverage could save $1T and 114k lives a year: study
"Insurance is a scam that lets the rich get richer. All insurance should be non-profit." Such empty platitudes never made for a good argument.
bopou··on Where Human Sleep Went Wrong
This is a contentious theory with little actual historical backing. Most likely people have been sleeping in one block since forever.
