when I interviewed, take-home challenge took 5+ hours, 2 weeks for review, was given incorrect feedback from a different candidate, then rejected after further review without the option to correct a silly mistake I made. Wouldn't recommend applying here.
bohnej··on Ask HN: Who is hiring? (April 2017)
This guy does not respond to messages, nor does this company respond to job applicants.
bohnej··on Ask HN: Who is hiring? (March 2017)
They don't respond to job candidates for some reason...
bohnej··on Ask HN: Who is hiring? (February 2017)
This company doesn't respond to all job applicants.

  Primarily an Android developer here.
I have multiple years of Android development experience with 8 months full-time. 3 personal apps on the play store. I adhere to the material design guidelines well these days and consider myself to be good in Android product design.

"We're excited to review your application and will contact you within two weeks if there's interest in moving forward with your candidacy.

If you don't hear back from us, we'll keep your application on file for future consideration."

No resume response.

It's debatable if one has "good communication skills" or not. This is what I'm saying. If you talk to someone different they would have a completely different viewpoint on your "skills." Nothing objective in that. Plus, you can't really judge how well you talk with a client in an interview since the interviewer is not a client of the company.
bohnej··on Ask HN: Who is hiring? (December 2015)
I was informed by a recruiter that they aren't hiring in 2015 anymore so this post is a bust.
bohnej··on Ask HN: Who is hiring? (December 2015)
They don't respond to applicants.
bohnej··on Ask HN: Who is hiring? (December 2015)
They reject people for debatable reasons such as "communication skills." Don't apply here.
bohnej··on Ask HN: Who is hiring? (December 2015)
You'll never get feedback on rejection during this company's interview process in my experience.
bohnej··on Ask HN: Who is hiring? (November 2015)
I never got a response. Did anyone else?
bohnej··on Ask HN: Who is hiring? (November 2015)
That blog post and job description vary a lot, especially the skills and qualifications section.
bohnej··on Ask HN: Who is hiring? (November 2015)
They didn't respond to my application either.
bohnej··on Ask HN: Who is hiring? (November 2015)
They don't respond to applications
bohnej··on Ask HN: Who is hiring? (October 2015)
They don't respond to applicants
bohnej··on Ask HN: Who is hiring? (October 2015)
Never got a response from them for months.
bohnej··on Ask HN: Who is hiring? (October 2015)
Never got a response from them.
bohnej··on Ask HN: Who is hiring? (January 2015)
It was difficult based on the description to find out that this is actually a sales job and not a programming job.
bohnej··on Ask HN: Who is hiring? (January 2015)
One of their job descriptions says that the only two full-time engineers are the co-founder (Adam) and product development (Ouziel).

I don't understand. These types of websites have existed for a long time. This is nothing new. Most people have found out that hidden-city ticketing doesn't work either on round-trip flights because the airlines will cancel the rest of the trip if they find out. It only works for one-way trips with carry-on bags only.
bohnej··on Ask HN: Who is hiring? (November 2014)
It's optional.
bohnej··on Ask HN: Who is hiring? (October 2014)
This may be moot since I never got an application response, but the full-stack description in OP doesn't include Android.
bohnej··on Ask HN: Who is hiring? (October 2014)
Not easy to get into this company. Not sure what they are looking for.
bohnej··on Ask HN: Who is hiring? (October 2014)
Vurb confuses me because it says "Engineering All Levels" on vurb.com/jobs but then this post says "Lead Android Engineer." What do you really want?
bohnej··on Ask HN: Who is hiring? (October 2014)
When you say Python, do you mean in terms of web development?
bohnej··on Ask HN: Who is hiring? (October 2014)
I doubt many of these companies are hiring non-programmers for engineering roles. Sometimes people post designer jobs if you're into that though.
