bobcorponoi··on Ask HN: Is it immoral not to correct someone else's grammar on social media?
But that doesn't reflect the same intent that the author had. Whether their grammar is good or bad, at least it's their writing. They expressed themselves in the way they wanted to. I'm sure my grammar is not great either but I'm happy I wrote it myself.

What's the tech solution? I don't want to assume.

I think the issue with correcting grammar online is that it diverts the conversation from the topic of the post. Of course this depends on the context but they might be excited about what they're posting about and seeing replies about their bad grammar or other off-topic things can take away from that.

If you can offer genuine advice privately, then you can but otherwise if you feel it might come off as rude or pedantic, then I would shy away from it.

bobcorponoi··on How to motivate yourself to do a thing you don't want to do
I have a similar issue, I can find motivation to start something but then it spirals into other things.

For $100 million I would probably just learn to put on the scuba gear but for instance my mind would go to "I should make my own scuba gear". So for a personal project I start on something and decide I need something else, so then I want to make a tool to help me make that thing and so on. I think it's probably related to a shorter attention span so I'm working on that.

That's interesting, I'll have to look into that and give it a try. Seems like a good way to build back up your attention span as well.
bobcorponoi··on Ask HN: Advice for someone entering their 30s
I've recently started reading more, particularly books for self enrichment like How to Win Friends and Influence People and How to Stop Worrying and Start Living. After reading your comment, I read the obituary and then I went and picked up Greenlights and I'm hooked. I can't wait to read more of it and after I finish it I'll pick up The Comfort Crisis. Thanks for the recommendations. If you have any others you recommend I'd love to check them out.
