blell··on Polymarket gamblers threaten to kill me over Iran missile story
What does that mean? People who believe in IQ?
blell··on Never knew news websites could survive without ads
There is publicly-funded media in my country too. Guess how they lean politically.
blell··on Canada's bill C-22 mandates mass metadata surveillance
Have you realised those in power right now are against you? And it seems to work very well for them.
blell··on Office.eu launches as Europe's sovereign office platform
>just like hundreds of other companies offering products with "Office" in their name

There may be hundreds of other companies selling products with the noun "office" in their names, but there only is one producing a productivity suite called simply "Office". I would expect launching another productivity suite called "Office" would be trademark infringement. Just like I can't release a car called "Beetle" or "Golf".

blell··on Hollywood Enters Oscars Weekend in Existential Crisis
Yes. Those conglomerates also do TV. But Hollywood makes movies, and not talk shows. Many of those conglomerates also have internet access businesses. But Hollywood doesn’t lay fibre.
blell··on Hollywood Enters Oscars Weekend in Existential Crisis
That’s because Hollywood makes movies, not videogames. You also spent a few hours driving but Hollywood hasn’t done anything about it because they are not in the business of making cars.
blell··on Italy Explores Nuclear Return After 40 Years as Energy Costs Hit
Gas prices are high because of sanctions; maybe don’t shoot your own foot?

blell··on UCP Protocol: The Internet Has 100M Shops and No Front Door
Why would shops implement this. It would detrimental to them if customers could easily find the cheapest option.
blell··on Human Rights Watch says drone strikes in Haiti have killed nearly 1,250 people
What government? Do you know anything about Haiti?
blell··on Source code of Swedish e-government services has been leaked
You've got to be a real low-life to collect all of that and put it in a database that is not air-gapped.
blell··on Does Where You're Born Matter More Than How Hard You Work?
You can overcome that with talent and intelligence. But since talent and intelligence are not evenly distributed, you have places with little natural resources that are rich and places rich in natural resources that are poor.
blell··on Does Where You're Born Matter More Than How Hard You Work?
Talent and intelligence are absolutely not evenly distributed. If they were, opportunity would be evenly distributed too.
blell··on Asian governments roll out 4-day weeks, WFH to solve fuel crisis caused by war
Yep, your comment is deranged.
blell··on Google closes deal to acquire Wiz
I’m the wiz, I’m the wiz! And noooooobody beats me!!!
blell··on Explain it like I'm 5: Why is everyone on speakerphone in public?
> As an example, I never see Japanese people on their speakerphones in public. Some other cultures seem more likely to view it as acceptable.

Demographics is everything. Import speakerphone users, get speakerphone usage.

blell··on Traffic from Russia to Cloudflare is 60% down from last year
The blocking of cloudflare in Spain shows that citizens of “democratic” states have no agency either.
blell··on How the Sriracha guys screwed over their supplier
That list of ingredients is awful.

“Red jalapeno, sugar, water, salt acetic acid, garlic, natural flavor, xanthan gum, sodium metabisulfite, and/or sodium bisulfite (sulfiting agent / preservative), potassium sorbate (preservative).”

I’ve had sriracha in the past and it’s disgustingly sweet. Apparently it’s 17% sugar!

blell··on Last Statements
The Nordic countries do not have the demographics of the US. There’s some kind of person who is not reformable.
blell··on Last Statements
They should put the reason before the text so you know none of them are worth reading.
blell··on Cancellation of Army exercise fuels speculation about Mideast troop deployments
There’s a lot of good for Jews who get to benefit from it though.
blell··on Global warming has accelerated significantly
You can apply that too to the “man-made climate change is real” argument.
blell··on First MacBook Neo Benchmarks Are In
Those laptops look very good on paper, now buy one and tell us how it goes.
blell··on AI and the Ship of Theseus

blell··on Google Safe Browsing missed 84% of confirmed phishing sites
Educate yourself on how it works before you say something like this.
blell··on Helsinki just went a full year without a single traffic death
This but unironically. If it wasn’t for greed we would be in the caves still.
blell··on “Microslop” filtered in the official Microsoft Copilot Discord server
I would say that “microslop” is akin to the old term “micro$oft”, which was a good sign of immaturity of whoever used it.
blell··on “Microslop” filtered in the official Microsoft Copilot Discord server
Wow, so someone opened a discord server for a community and banned an insulting word for the community? This must be a first.
