blackorzar··on Why we’re changing to the AGPL license
Hello markosaric, Have you thought on requiring contributions to be dual licensed MIT + AGPL? This would avoid you the need of a CLA because you can use MIT to incorporate the contribution to your cloud solution and/or to sell a license to a corporation that would like to keep their modifications closed. This would also lower the barrier to contributors due they don't need to sign the CLA.

Instead of CLA you may consider on requiring the contributions to be dual licensed MIT + AGPL. MIT allows you to use the code in your SAAS version. Your code, the constributions and the entire repo can be kept AGPL only (because MIT doesn't impose a condition on you to release the entire code as MIT).

Just reminding you about this request :)

Would you please share your code? I would like to have a similar setup for my emacs in windows.

Thank you for the macro suggestion, I just gave it a try and I was surprised that it was so simple and practical as define: F3 keys/text F4 then run: F4
blackorzar··on Copyleft and community licenses are not without merit, but they are a dead end
I would like to release a software with Commons Clause, but I don't entirely like the "Commons" name. Would it be accurate to call it "Apache 2 + Do-not-resell Clause"?

What if Oracle buys Jetbrains? :)
blackorzar··on IPv6 Support for EC2 Instances in Virtual Private Clouds
One reason you would like to go full Ip6 internally may be if your network fit well in a case where you can have only 1 DNS server instead of maintaining 2: 1 for the external IPs plus 1 for the internal IPs. With IP6 you could get rid of the internal DNS server (Which would be simpler for small networks).
blackorzar··on GPL Time Bomb – an interesting approach to FOSS licensing
Add to this idea the Redhat-Centos rulebook: Make the project name and assets with trademarks (non GPL) so if the customer wants to distribute the code they need to rip off the trademarks (name and images) from the project.
blackorzar··on GPL Time Bomb – an interesting approach to FOSS licensing
Define that all the external contributions must be dual licenced Apache Public License v2 and GPL, that way you can integrate it to your lead version (commercial licence) because APL2 allows it, and also you can release it after 3 years in the GPL branch (or rebase it to the current GPL edition right away). This way you don't need the contributors to sign anything and aligns well with your model.
blackorzar··on The IPv6 Numeric IP Format Is a Usability Problem
I see this idea like a really cool one.

http://deadbeed.ip6 would help to start using it.

If the local dns could be setup to autotranslate them to ip6 could help this notation to gain traction
