Good point sharemywin! We kind of like deadlines (also in our tool) because it creates a sense of urgency.

Hi kingkongjaffa, Thanks for your honest feedback. The CTO exists. His name is Linus and he is one of the best coders I ever met. But he is also very business savvy. You are totally correct that we are validating what customers really need right now. In the past, we built products without first finding out if customers really want to them. I am very sorry if you feel that I am lying. I just want to build something with Linus that helps people. But thanks again for the honest feedback! Kind regards, Bastian

Hi Jugurtha, Thank you for your very valuable feedback.

We sold the 100 licenses together. A license costs $1/month per user now instead of $6.99/month per user.

The 500 licenses and Tuesday are my CTO's requests. He will build the tool when I can deliver the licenses by Tuesday.

And yes, our product should solve the decision making part of this problem but, it may not help me getting 500 licenses :-)

Hi Leros, Thank you for your input - much appreciated! We are small team and I need to demonstrate to my CTO that customers will buy the tool. But it is super interesting that the tool we are developing is about decision making and convincing others - just what you emphasised! Kind regards, Bastian

Good point, elefantastisch. Culture is a huge success driver. We think it is also about repeat, repeat and repeat the right things to achieve a great culture. And technology can help people not to forget to repeat. What do you think?

Hi codingdave, what feedback would you have? And how would you change our solution?
bjuly··on Make better decisions with fewer online meetings
Sounds better than what we do in Germany: one meeting after the other and no decision!

Thank you for your questions andix! We are thinking about MS Teams integration. Depends on user feedback.

Thank you igetspam! We will contact you asap. Change-advisory boards is what we had in mind when we separated between expert input and decision making. We create the agenda for a meeting robotically only if the decision makers cannot agree asynchronically. Looking forward to exchanging thoughts with you!

Why wouldn't one want sit through another Teams meeting?

Hi ccuqui, Thank you for using GoodIP IQ to learn more about Amazon's patent strategy!
bjuly··on Show HN: View the patent and innovation history of any company
Hi greensoap, you are correct that Amazon patent application is not GRANTED as of yet. If there is a B at the end of the document number, it is GRANTED.

Good point, sumtechguy! I agree limiting numbers might not really help. However, giving startups the tools to understand the patent game might help a lot. What do you think?

Hi have_faith, Great question! That's one of the reasons we built GoodIP IQ: It can give everyone insights into the secret patent universe. And you are correct: Does it really make sense to have so many patents? How can startups deal with 100,000 patents just at Microsoft?
