I have this and am just 39yo. It’s crazy how I forget someone it’s embarrassing. Usually when I don’t get enough sleep. Forgetting actors or movie names.
Yep I was here when the whole HN mania was so against BTC. I was firmly bogleheads and was still a broke phd student. In hindsight if I just gambled with little money I have I might be set for life. But Don't know if I could have held till 100K.
It's really easy. Use casinos in 3rd world countries to certify your money as gambling winnings. There must be underground network for this. So it looks like you're gambling and you got lucky. Very dangerous though. I heard that they charge 13% total fee. You come in at 5M$. You play for 1 week.. Leave with 160M or something. Bring that cash into the bank and deposit it.
Same in Philippines in the 90s. We’d be out all day and come back at dinner time. There was no pedo. I think kidnapping and pedophile are overblown in media. Whole neighborhood would just play on the streets. No nanny.
I’m based in Austin. Do you think we could be friends and play LAN party at your house? Primarily interested in SC2 but open to other games as well. -dude in his 30s
Btw, is there a good learning pathway for LLVM/MLIR for folks w/o compiler background? I come mostly from HW but is super interested in the topic due to work-related stuff. Since your day job is LLVM related maybe you can give great advice.
