It also seems like the Google Product Forums are down.
bierko··on [dead]
Yup, was confused since it didn't say it was down there, then decided to check HN.
bierko··on Our startup is selling our iPhone video chat tech on eBay
Did you guys considering selling it on other platforms besides eBay? (I don't know of any; I'm asking out of curiosity of whether there's any competitors for hosting an auction like this)

P.S. I looked at your site -- I took 252r this semester and loved it, though the topic was different this year.

bierko··on Snapchat Phone Number Database Leaked
For some reason, all of the 617 area codes are labeled as "Southern Michigan", but 617 is for Boston/Cambridge.
bierko··on Programming languages influence network
There's a bug where if you scroll down in one modal, the scroll will be preserved in the other modals you open.
bierko··on Should I use a carousel?
Since you mention the dots, I wonder if carousels gained traction after smartphones (i.e. the paging dots on the iOS home screen).
bierko··on Show HN: Outbound - A single events API for emails, push, sms, and voice
The screenshots near the top definitely look like part of the web page -- I tried clicking them at first. A border of some sort might help distinguish it (I didn't see the three dots at the bottom at first, and most laptop screens probably won't be able to see it either).
bierko··on How well do you know HTML?
How do the animations work?
bierko··on Show HN: the iPhone version of News/YC, a Hacker News reader
You can integrate non-ARC code into an iOS app pretty easily: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8958761/how-to-remove-arc...
bierko··on Ad industry threatens Firefox users with more ads if Mozilla moves on tracking
Don't you feel that it's -somewhat- misleading to compare blocking ads to illegally downloading ("stealing") content?
bierko··on Terminology – a new terminal emulator
For me, tabs distract from the cleanliness of a black (or insert your own background color) terminal.
bierko··on AMA with Barack Obama
I'm 18 years old. I'd consider myself politically indifferent, in part because I did research at an organization investigating lobbying and money.

No matter how much of a publicity stunt this was, though, I registered to vote today. Obama was pretty persuasive.

bierko··on ToS;DR — TL;DR for Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
Not to be a stickler, just trying to help, but persistant is misspelled (persistent).
bierko··on Show HN: Everyday.me - a mobile app to record your life and store it forever
Evernote has a pretty casual user friendly design, too. There are a lot of other options on the mobile apps, but I ignore them and can testify that Evernote Mobile still works fine for me. The two just happen to serve different purposes -- this application is geared towards a more specific one.
bierko··on We are Colorblind
Something similar happened to me with a significant other. I thought a bright green umbrella was yellow, but apparently, that was not the case.
bierko··on Source Sans Pro: Adobe’s first open source font family
That's a really nice monospace.
bierko··on Dropbox: Security update & new features
I love the art at the top. Go Jon!
bierko··on Ask HN: How do you learn to develop exploits?
I'm reading it now, too. There are a lot of examples (it comes with a VM), but the book is still more conceptual than hands-on. The exploit-exercises site posted above looks pretty good.
bierko··on Dropbox' Public/ folders will be phased out soon
This is a good point. I went to a Dropbox talk, and one of the employees mentioned, in a similar vein, that a lot of users first use the app on a mobile device and never realize that there's also a desktop client.
bierko··on 10 Years of Red Hat Enterprise Linux
It launched with RHEL AMI's. There are no official CentOS AMI's, though there are plenty of images supplied by the community.
