Someone from Chicago recommended Angie's list to me in downstate Illinois. There's not many reviews for contractors in my town. The concept is great, however I had to pay to sign up, and the user experience isn't great. There's probably free contractor review sites out there, but I don't know of them. Seems like this concept would be a good startup opportunity.

apparently people can tell what she means.

Good point! However, those spammers are doing some good because they're paying money to stamp their mail, which goes to employ mail personel, etc. For that reason I feel good when I throw away credit card letters while saying "Dear greedy creditor, No I don't want your raping fees, but thank you for paying money for me to throw this letter in recycling."

Yeah. He should have titled it "I'm the man"

I feel best when I'm deleting other's code, and accomplishing the same thing with much less code.

Could someone tell me why my comments were downvoted? Was it because the downvoter disagreed? Why not polite discussion rather than downvoting?

I think it's great that we're learning and exploring the human body, and trying to mimic it in other areas. I'm really attempting to challenge the beliefs.

*edit - wording

Man is working so hard to learn and recreate the human body. However, many believe that the human body was created by chance and chaos.

I like SQLAlchemy as my DB abstraction. Then you aren't tied to a web app. However, for starting I use pylons, and have been playing with FormAlchemy. It gives you a simple admin interface, but you can customize all you want.

I work for Accenture. I know they have a good presence in Europe, and lots of Java jobs.

Thanks so much everyone. You guys are great. I have some reading to do. :)

Hi skmurphy. I didn't disagree. Just adding my 2 cents to it.

As a developer, I am always learning, but many times I don't care to learn anymore about computers. Those are the times that I look forward to going home, and picking up a book about whatever I'm trying to learn about.
