azoff··on Ask HN: Who is hiring? (November 2015)
Omni (Seed) | San-Francisco, CA | Full-time | ONSITE

https://www.beomni.com

Omni is a service that picks up, catalogs, and stores your personal items. We currently offer cheap and easy management of your items via our iOS app. Whenever you want to retrieve any items, you can simply choose a time to have them delivered, and they are returned to you on schedule! When you’re done, request a pickup, and the process starts over. Omni is simply the best way to manage and interact with your storage needs.

We're looking for two founding engineers, both generalists, though each with primary coverage on the back and front end. You can read about the roles here:

Reach out to dev@beomni.com if you're interested!

P.S. As a special gift to our fellow hacker news readers, enter code HACKERNEWS on https://www.beomni.com/offer for 1 month of storage free!

azoff··on A framework for real-time, mobile presentations
Looking for feedback, it's still pretty alpha...

The idea is to be able to give a presentation, whilst your audience follows along on their mobile. A neat feature is that the same presentation can (optionally) display different content to the audience and presenter.

No, because no reference was ever provided in the original email

Wow, thanks for all the feedback.

I'm happy there are others who have dealt with this before. I hate to sound like a bleeding heart, but it is really sad that any troll can effectively axe an open-sourced project like this. I really hope that it won't come to litigation.
