azaras··on Ask HN: What are you reading?
For keep the brain working and sci-fi I recommend you "EVO - Padres" by Ignacio Fernandez Moreno, spanish only but easy to read with B2 level or upper. It's a science fiction novel exploring politics based in evolution in a far away planet.
azaras··on The internet discovers TLA+. Now what?
I am learning TLA+ but I do not know CSP, is CSP better?
azaras··on [dead]
The logo is like the Go one, it confuses me.
azaras··on Ask HN: What are you working on? (September 2026)
I am learning math logic and two languages to use it: TLA+ and Lean.
azaras··on Show HN: I left VSCode to build an IDE to handle many projects/agents workflow
I understood that you was in the VSCode dev team.

"I left using VSCode to build an IDE ..." is a most honest claim.

azaras··on GPT-5.6 Sol Ultra produces proof of the Cycle Double Cover Conjecture [pdf]
It did not use Lean or other proof assistant?
azaras··on Ask HN: Pregunta para los devs hispanohablantes
Mal, el inglés permite la comunicación entre informáticos a nivel internacional.
azaras··on Generative AI Vegetarianism
The majority of humans are not slop-free.

We compare AI to high-performance humans, but the average human is not better at many tasks than AI is.

azaras··on Do architects still need to draw? (2020)
My dad was an old-school architect. When AutoCAD replaced the drafting table—the ink, the ruler, the set square, the protractor—he thought it was crap, because now any total hack at drawing could do it.

For me, on the other hand, AutoCAD was amazing, because with AutoLISP you could draw with words. And now, with the LLM boom, I finally get him.

The Copilot-Cli is not so bad,

azaras··on How the new era of CEO supervillains are trapped in their own ideology
Communism is the alternative ideology.
azaras··on You Need to Ditch VS Code
I follow using Emacs, but for debug and AI.

Using both is not so bad.

azaras··on If AI replaces workers, should it also pay taxes?
Reduce human working hours.
azaras··on Why we built Lightpanda in Zig
What are you developing in?
azaras··on AI is an attack from above on wages": cognitive scientist Hagen Blix
That is because of the neoliberal ideology. When the ideology changes, workers will be the primary beneficiaries.
azaras··on Intelligent Kubernetes Load Balancing at Databricks
What is the difference between Kuberesolver and using a Headless Service?

In the README.md file, they compare it with a ClusterIP service, but not with a Headless on "ClusterIP: None".

The advantages of using Kuberesolver are that you do not need to change DNS refresh and cache settings. However, I think this is preferable to the application calling the Kubernetes API.

azaras··on Nova: A New Web Framework for Erlang
Why do you use Erlang instead of Elixir?
azaras··on Show HN: A 'Choose Your Own Adventure' written in Emacs Org Mode
Regarding AI, I don't have a replacement, but for code/text navigation, eglot is a good option.

I think that the AI CLI agents are the response for AI, but for now, I am opening VSCode with an Emacs extension and some keybinding changes.

azaras··on Reverse proxy deep dive
Nowadays, "reverse" is suppressed in most ways. I have heard that Nginx is a proxy more often than a reverse proxy.
azaras··on Show HN: A rain Pomodoro with brown noise, ASMR, and Middle Eastern music
Is it not 25 min too short for a focus period? I listen to Andrew Haberman that 90 min is the time you maintain focus.
azaras··on Context Engineering for Agents
To provide context, I utilize the memory-bank pattern with GitHub Copilot Agent, but I believe I'm wasting a significant number of tokens.
azaras··on LLMs as Compilers
But this is a waste of resources. LLM should be generated in a higher-level language and then compiled.
azaras··on Caffeine Keeps Your Brain "Awake" Even While You Sleep, Study Finds
But, old people, who have taken coffee have good mental health, contrary to alcohol drinkers.
azaras··on Intelligence on Earth Evolved Independently at Least Twice
And AI.
azaras··on The AI jobs crisis is here, now
"No one owes anyone a job"

A job no, but an income.

The humanity does not need to be more productive, we have enough of all, products and services.

What we need is reduce the working time and dedicate the time to flourish, read, write, music, sports, maths, philosophy... Less consuming and more creating.

azaras··on Taking Notes with Joplin
Org-mode is the way for Emacs users.
azaras··on The Gang of Four is wrong and you don't understand delegation (2012)
But GoG saids to use composition over inheritance
azaras··on Sketch-of-Thought: Efficient LLM Reasoning
It is interesting for an old and classic software developer to see how the LLMs are taught/programmed. They use markdown files:

azaras··on Tmux – The Essentials (2019)
I use byobu, a Tmux wrapper, as my primary terminal.

I changed the Keybindings for splitting and moving around terminals to be as in Emacs, and I am very happy.
