Is that leasing or renting in your country?
Leasing is a financial construction where you actually own the product / property, with the bank having the option to claim it if you fail to pay.
For those people, $2000 is a good price for a device that does all their digital work.
So you pay $1368 for the privilege of using the Duo for 2 years.
The same point applies elsewhere: Guinea became independent from French colonial rule in 1958, but independence didn't magically erase the economic structures, institutions, and inequalities inherited from colonialism. Today, a large share of Guinea's population still lives in poverty despite the country's enormous natural-resource wealth.
So "it's not a colony" is correct as a matter of constitutional law. But using that fact to imply that colonial history is irrelevant to present-day economic and social conditions is a much stronger claim, and one that's harder to defend.
It's also better to have the massive amounts of emissions far away from your own population.
Don't forget that the European continent has had wars almost non-stop for centuries. It is a good strategy to place your gold in a location that has not seen much action in the past 250 years.
That is how your car radio could display the name of the current track.
Perhaps the EU can step in and force these SoC companies to change their way of working so that a user can simply install Android 17 with a few clicks regardless of their hardware (to a point). Like how desktop computers work.
If this was my own TV it would have been thrown in the trash.
So why does a brand new phone run an operating system from over a year ago? Does it really take over 6 months to update a phone to a new version of Android?
How am I supposed to believe a company is committing to supporting a phone for a long time when at release it already runs outdated software?
The other way round: If the son the mayor commits armed burglary, nothing happens. Happened in Amsterdam. According to her, her son was just messing around with friends.

The EU briefly had a similar registry but that got shut down quickly.
Then you don’t need 5 cloud services and people can go back to knocking.
Also, a doorbell ringing on the outside of the door is not only silly but in case of an apartment complex highly annoying for your neighbors.
And make sure your neighbors like being monitored through your five services.
Personally I have a button outside my front door. It is connected with a copper wire to the other side of the door to a small device that sends out an audible notification. No cloud required.
Imagine paying a Korean company five bucks a months so you can get a notification on your phone that your fridge needs a new water filter.
People really need to touch grass.
That’s an additional 1400km just for rail overhead. I knew it was bad but that is shocking.
Would also be cool if they could force fee-free bank transactions and card payments within the EU.
That is more useful to me than wake words on Android.
