Are journalists not supposed to have friends? Is Twitter use indicative of a person's entire communication pattern? Perhaps Twitter is best used as a tool for communicating with close aquaintences than with the broader world. Everyone is a dickhead on Twitter, so how can you blame anyone for muting/blocking the hell out of everything on there?

Everytime I use a voice interface I regret it. The only time it works is when I ask Google a single short six-grade-level question when nobody else is in the room talking, and I'm not otherwise occupied by anything that would prevent me from just using my phone. I get that there are some people who can't use their thumbs, and I pity those people because voice interfaces are the most frustrating things on this planet.

It's not really a hack is it? More like a fix or an optimization. I was excited for a second cause I have a single hose portable AC and I've been thinking about "hacking" it with an intake hose.

However, the more I use the thing the more I realize that there's nothing wrong with it. Since the rest of the house isn't air conditioned there are open windows and fans throughout. Air is more likely to be drawn in from the rest of the house than through the cracks to the outdoors. Might be an issue in a sealed studio apt, but in our leaky shoebox of a ranch style home, it's hardly the biggest inefficiency.
