arimb00r··on Kanvas – An Open Source Project for Forensics and Incident Response
I've been working on an open source tool designed for incident response (IR) and case management, aimed at helping folks in forensics, IR, or part of a SOC handling security incidents and breaches.

I wanted the backend to be compatible with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets—specifically the infamous "Spreadsheet of Doom"—so that even if you don’t use the tool, the data remains accessible and usable.

Kanvas is an IR case management tool with an intuitive desktop interface, built in Python. It provides a unified workspace for investigators who rely on spreadsheets, help manage cases and complete key workflows without switching between different Apps.

Would love feedback, contributors, or just to hear how others are solving this problem.

I have recently created a free website to track cybersecurity-related open-source projects, governance, compliance, regulations, learning datasets, and more. You can find it here

https://onetracker.org/

I would love to hear your thoughts on what else could be useful for the community, especially for younger individuals who want to break into a career in cybersecurity.

Cheers

arimb00r··on I Built a Productivity Platform for the Cybersecurity Community
I kept running into the same problem: finding curated lists of open-source security projects, compliance, regulations, standards, best practices, etc., but nothing that brought it all together in one place.

To address this, I attempted to create a platform to benefit the cybersecurity community.

The main use case is providing quick access to cybersecurity bookmarks — a resource that red teams, blue teams, GRC consultants, CISOs, and others can use.

I hope this helps the community and would love your feedback and input on how to improve the platform to better support everyone in the field!
