I would say, mostly content producers and creators that have build up a significant audience. YouTube and Instagram could be considered the main platforms for influencers, but again those were occupations that did not exisit at all 10 years ago.

Absolutely true, it is tough to be self-employed in Canada and focus only on your own projects. In addition to the tax issue, there are so many other obstacles that are pressuring people to work on their own, especially the unaffordable housing in the big cities...
