Liverpool was my other guess

Let me guess ... probably drunks so guess drinking culture. Maybe UK. Big city with enough canals for this to be an issue ... probably Birmingham?

You know why I hate exceptions most?

When debugging be it C# or JS, neither the "break on all exceptions" or "break on caught exceptions" are useful on any app. One just hits random library shit, or whatever bloat is in the codebase all the time and the other won't break at all.

But because exceptions are the control flow that is the only way to debug them (or do a human binary search)

Not sure what go debugging is like but I imagine you can quickly work your way to the first err!=nil while debugging.

It is possible for 1yr TC of many people here. But you need to apply and wait. And the same hostile government, using ICANN, can can your TLD.

What are the American equivalents? Microsoft and IBM to some extent? GE?

Does Mitsubishi have the sort of political influence and lobbying that you might expect from a big company in Western countries?

In my case 33% extra on top for 3 years coverage. Or approx a YT premium subscription.

Got the entire thing replaced in that time due to issues plus lots of micro fixes. Pays off when you get a lemon!

Having someone come to you is huge. Sending a laptop back for 6 weeks because of default warranty is a PITA and you need to source another laptop and then get it set up. As well as backup data, delete, restore etc.

For an apples to Apples comparison you should add AppleCare, since the accidental damage cover is in the price I mentioned.

I agree. You can have the best of both worlds. Tell them they are free to experiment and learn. I'll be here if you need help at any stage. Give them a staging environment to work in so they don't cause any customer issues.

There is an organisation issue here too. Why don't they have a buddy if they are junior. I am senior and still have a buddy, mentor and manager. Not having an assigned buddy and a good plan for juniors is bad.

If I get a new non mac laptop I max out the warranties and accidental damage. Top service level. Then consider that real OG price. Without those extras you have a brick-in-waiting.

But could you access that internet from within a CF worker as a workaround?

I think there is a good chance. Not enough for me to buy SPX puts though!

> The actual quote is the other way around.

I am well aware.

> What evidence does the parent have for intentions to harm

Just watch/read the news since 2016. Too much to list.

In addition Elon is seen as a captain of industry. PayPal. Tesla. Space X. So it can be that Elon is inept.

They could even let then work remotely!

There "is bloat in civil servants" "America has gotten fat" etc. sounds like an imprecise, weasly and inflammatory remark. It is a handy soundbite that saves people thinking through a complex situation and to keep voting against their own interests.

I am guessing that ship sailed for at least 2 years. Probably more as people voted for this with open eyes so the people probably approve. Unless the economy tanks this year.

Iran, NK, China would love em!

Call it draining the swamp. So we can associate that phrase with stupid decisions.

Don't put down to stupidity anything that could be proscribed as malice (or something to that effect...)

I don't know much about Ketamine. I thought it was just what they use to knock you out for surgery.

I like the phrase "on alcohol". Indeed it is also a psychoactive drug.

I am not pro LSD (I don't think I'll ever try this or similar).

But I would say sleep is similar in this regard especially dreams.

Work is a different beast! Sharing RFCs can be useful. But it is say 2% of my time. Most is indeed just do it, TM. Writing to organise the things you just wanna do.

All running on a goat and penguin?

Australia values every single lot of land for rates (aka council tax). So it is possible with some good stats nerds to figure it out.

But these values take into consideration zoning. So if you are ona residential block it is valued as such. But it would not be hard to figure out what it would be worth as high density. So the valuation problem is easily doable.

Also in Australia each state does it independently.

Serious though. What 100% means on cpu dashboards is as inconsistent as what time zone dates are in.

Good point instead of deleting, treat it like an invalid https cert. Lots of warnings and are you sures before you get to clone or fork.

One question is ... do you want to spend the time on this or the business. Maybe hire a company (or maybe better the tech family friend) to maintain it for you?

Otherwise there are some good technical answers but in short if you are not paying you'd have to learn. Maybe buy a second domain (some are $1) to practice on.

For a GPT wrapper sure. You can get $1k AWS or Azure credits pretty easy.

The format is probably ok for non-edit logging like journalling or recording something like weight loss.

So we can't look at the presidents track record because it's different this time TM
