I also think that buying books somehow creates the feeling of being productive, "oh I have bought this book, I will learn so much and end up becoming a better person", while (when you don't end up reading the book), you just wasted your time and money. Much better to always only buy one book, absorb the knowledge/enjoy the story and only afterwards buy the next.

Agree, it's usually thinking about the consequences, things that don't seem clear directly that makes second order thinking hard.

But wasn't the whole point of cryptocurrencies to be anonymus? or am I missing something here?

Agree that Google Flights isn't perfect, though I do find it better than any other flight search engine. Especially the 'explore' option is so good for finding very cheap flights across Europe.

very unsure if half width vehicles will become a thing, but what's for sure is that micromobility will expand. We will see more electric scooters, ebikes etc. They solve so many traffic and environmental problems in cities.

Yes but regarding food the opposite could also happen. Lab grown meet, better alternatives from plants (e.g. https://simulate.com/) are coming and could lower the price drastically. Also improving plant seeds can make them more resistant to heat/water scarcity

I truly wonder if there will a 'image picker job' in the future. A person who creates dall-e images for clients and picks the best for them.

Just recently saw a three fingered spider-man created by DALL-E

Yes also due to shortening attention spans

Agree, especially since it could bring some image variety into blogging. Sometimes I keep seeing the same, overused image again and again. Now you can create super cool looking, unique images and tailor them to how you'd like them to look like.

Been thinking of getting one for a while now...

Also I think MacOS is still much better than Windows in terms of design and usability

Yes they have improved the panels so much the past couple of years. The blacks are just so amazing on OLEDs!

Exactly. It's basically the same device executed a bit better..

I switched from DDG to You.com
