hi!

apologies for this comment which is completely unrelated to your post - was just trying to figure out a way to get in touch with you.

I just moved to Durham from NYC for work, and was looking through HN to see if there were any ongoing meetups, etc. in the area. Saw your comment about an RTP meetup (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=1512702) here, so figured you might still be in the area.

Would love any tips you might have for meeting new people / getting involved in the tech community around here. Or even meeting up in person just to chat!

not sure how I can send you my contact info without it being public - but if you see this, let me know and we can figure it out!

hello!

not actually replying to this comment - was just trying to figure out a way to get in touch with you!

Thank you - hope you have a wonderful weekend

Wouldn’t it have been a more helpful/useful comparison to show R&D as a % of GDP alongside % of PPP-adjusted GDP? Total R&D spend in PPP$ seems like a not-so-useful comparison since it's still biased by size of an economy, whereas % of total GDP is trying to normalize for that (albeit not perfectly).
