anuvrat1··on Colombia seizes first unmanned narco-submarine with Starlink antenna
Cartels are already diversifying, thanks to bullish gold market they are going full tilt on gold. "In Colombia and Peru gangs are now thought to make more money from gold than from the sale of narcotics."[1]

anuvrat1··on Practice typing by retyping entire novels
Typing whole novels is a bit too much for me, as I lose interest in 20 mins or a day or two at best, so short content like articles and blogs would be much better.

thinkPad, thinkbook, thinkstation, thinkcenter etc. Basically Lenovo's business oriented products
anuvrat1··on Ask HN: Why is it so hard to disrupt Ticketmaster?
The vertical integration, from venues to ticket reselling.

I think this much evidence is enough to deduce that, "No, fake account didn't wipe out $20B in market cap, rather it was a broad market trend"

anuvrat1··on India lifted 415M out of poverty in 15 years, says UN
If you want the reasoning, this IMF paper[1] goes into the detail. Generally gist is development rate (like GDP) is high in developing country, so is the inflation

anuvrat1··on India lifted 415M out of poverty in 15 years, says UN
It's quite easy to see, the early growth is hard carried by export of manufacturing from China and services from India. Yes, you can say, this wouldn't be possible without Chinese government infrastructure and incentives push and Indian government early push for premiere education, but that would have been useless without customers that are global markets.

anuvrat1··on “Secrets” about the consumer audio business you may find interesting
> Most Chinese factories and engineers are perfectly capable of producing high-end equipment... but their customers don't ask for it.

Now there is a market for good sounding IEM's and headphones, Chinese brands such as Moondrop and HiFiMAN are dominating every price bracket.

They are even innovating, earlier for Planar IEM's you can either have good sound or usability (Audeze isine). Now you have both with 7hz timeless.

The stagnated market has finally started moving, and the pace is insane.
