I’m curious why you think the “fragile earth” theory (or the precautionary principle, as it is more commonly known) has been thoroughly debunked?”
Did Welwood really coin the term spiritual bypassing? I read Robert Masters book and found it to be transformational. I don’t think he credits anyone for introducing the term though..
You are never alone. You didn’t choose to come into existence-at the very least, your parents (and others who raised you) will always have a physical and emotional bond of care and concern for you. They likely know you very well and want to see you thrive. No matter how alone you feel, keep in mind that the emotions you experience, and even the general challenges you face, will 100% have been experienced by many others. If you are in a tough spot, reach out to people around you: your family, your teachers, mentors, even your neighbor. Take deep breaths, build your courage up and talk to a professional therapist. Don’t be afraid to meditate on your challenges and seek answers in collective wisdom. Share what you discover. Lots of people reading your story will find themselves in it, and your resilience can become a source of hope others.
2. Delete. Flag what you need to save and delete everything else (or vice versa, filter and delete anything you don’t need). A fully clean inbox/browser will provide daily motivation to keep it clean.
3. Review all your bookmarks/tabs, etc and identify 10-20 general themes. What are you interested in? Can you start an activity or program that would allow you to review some of your favorited content in a more organic fashion?
To-do lists can be off-putting, and I doubt you would ever sit down to read through hundreds of webpages in abstraction. By applying it to a project or educational program, you will have a tangible product/outcome, and find that you don’t need as many bookmarks on that topic. (Or maybe you’ll create more.. at least, they’ll be different).
Whenever I do this, I find myself deleting about 10% of bookmarks with every new project (and adding back less than that).
