The web getting flooded with slop and drowning all original work is one way to go about that.
Another is paywalling and gatekeeping en masse.
A third is shutting down shadow libraries.
Edit: found that functionality. Nice!
I’ve gone weeks using no other browser than Dillo. Usually also disable CSS for most sites.
Built in custom CSS for all sites is also a treat.
I do understand what you are getting at. I just don’t find people repulsive by being curious of me; even if they find materials I myself did not make public.
As an aside, I sometimes stumble upon websites of people who write and show pictures of themselves and their family. I find them beautiful[0] to visit and hope more people would do that, as was more common 20 years ago.
You might find something I wrote interesting. Then whatever public info there is on me helps you to get to know me a bit better. You may stop there and forget about me, or you may try to reach out.
There is nothing wrong about that.
I’ve hit the back button within 1 second.
This is great, wish that browsers would implement a better algorithm.
Also good execution with the demo page.
Ran comic chat on a freshly installed Win98 (or 95, don’t remember) Pentium II.
Thank you! No more:
(defun cutregion-or-killword (beginning end) "Kills region if marked else backward kills word." (interactive "r") (if (use-region-p) (kill-region beginning end) (backward-kill-word 1)))
(global-set-key (kbd "C-w") 'cutregion-or-killword)
Then I installed Haiku on my XPS13 under KVM/Qemu. Everything runs blazingly fast. I’m thinking of maybe using that install for organizing my photos. The metadata functionality built into the BeFS is great for that.
I must say that I am really impressed.
If one model seems to be a bit off during a session I just switch to another (Opencode) and plan and review from there.
By the looks of it, I don't even think I'm replying to a human.
I used the CAT S22 for a while but it just isn't the same.
If they release a 5G MP03 I might buy one. I don't see the point of a Punkt smartphone.
Costs nothing extra.
