In engineering Hiring good managers is not what they optimize for. Yes Engineering management should still have a high level of understanding of engineering principals within that domain, but management also because a people skill. Out of all my interviews, people skills and EQ are very often overlooked.
The concept of marriage is an outdated concept. If people want to enter a mutually beneficial union, pre nuptial agreements should be a standard and not left up to courts or whatever archaic laws are on the books. People should be educated on what the union encompasses should it fail.
The biggest issues are that health care and taxes are tied to the idea of just being in a union.

I don't think so at least not in the short term. Demand in major metros is much higher than supply. Google will never be able to expand fast enough, in terms of getting approvals from cities, getting the tech right to be able to handle cities, and just the amount of cars on the street. We are probably looking at awhile before it is an actual threat to these other services. Who knows what will happen in that time.

You mean the same way his campaign uses facebook and twitter as a propaganda platform. Thats really the most important issue here. He can run political ads on both platforms and they do nothing about it. Tiktok reaches a gen z and millenials and he can't do anything about it.
Completely agree with this. I didn't even know I received email until I checked Everything area or each individual area. They need a badge indicating where new emails are coming in, so I can check. Especially with trying to get new users accustomed to their UI.
this isn't true. Since the house has been capped, it hasn't grown or hasn't been redistributed based on population changes. A person in Wymoing has more representation than a person in California.
Not every social app needs to be completely open to everything especially what may be considered controversial social issues. I'm not defending what they did, I'm just saying if their goal is to create a silly worry free experience, topics of controversy run counter to that.
I'm really curious of what the future of the internet is. The reason these services are mainstream and popular is because they are free and offer customized experiences. Without ad money how would you expect more services like this in the future. Before you say charge money for them... I just don't believe this works within the context of social applications, plus the group of people that primarily use these applications don't really have the ability to pay.
cool this is what I was looking for, which games are supported. Stadia's has a weak library. Being able to stream my existing Steam library is/would be amazing.
They can still make ad money, just not targetted ad money. The reality is that if theres money to be made someone will do it. Youtube is just another marketing channel, they'll be able to move into merchandising and other money making option
you say this like all cartoons growing up weren't giant ads. Almost every cartoon of my generation was created by a toy company. He-Man, GI Joe, Transformers, etc.
Also a Quest owner, and find it incredibly compelling. Very good content overall. Still a long way to go, but as a standalone headset there are some great capabilities that I'm seeing that can't be done with a tethered headset. Check out the new space pirates arena videos.
